So bad customer service

I seen online they are giving free installation charge but customer service people are charging £50 then there taking of our voucher £25 as well don't call the cutomer service go and do it online whatever you need this my

Customer care is great 'til you have a problem

Having been a Talktalk customer for a few years I was told for no extra cost I could have the TV package, I agreed to accept it and that is where I made my mistake! My broadband had worked fine until the TV went live, My speed almost halved my telly buffered and was unwatchable, I then attempted to report it. After ages on the report and repair customer service web page and a number of long phone calls they decided to send an engineer out. I was told the engineer would arrive between 3pm and 6pm, I came home early from work and no engineer arrived, My next bill had a £50 charge for a missed engineer appointment, I phoned and told them no engineer had been they insisted one had and described my front door to me and insisted I had missed the appointment and would have to pay the £50, I told the agent to cancel my package altogether and I would go with another company! I was transferred to a different department and eventually my engineer charge was cancelled and my speed was increased to 5,2mbps, Happy again I remained a customer. A few weeks later my speed was back down to 3,2mbps the tv buffered and the internet was slow, I again got in touch with the report and repair site and went through the same procedure as the first time. The same questions and tests had to be carried out again and eventually after over an hour on the phone I was given another engineers appointment between 3pm and 6pm. My wife was at home that day and the engineer arrived at 2pm he told us they do not get told specific times and even though I had told the talktalk agent I would not be in 'til after 3;30pm as I had lost time at work for the last appointment still the engineer arrived earlier than booked. No wonder I missed him the first time! He came in tested the system reconfigured my router and left my speed is now 6,2+mbps. Good service or what? Do not believe what the agents tell you and if you get an engineers appointment make sure you are at home all day or they will charge £50 for a missed appointment even though you have been given a time slot ignore it,

Shocking Customer Service

After 3 months since placing an order we still are not up and running. It has been excuse after excuse. Cancelled appointments . Text after text. Email after email. False promises all the way. Your CSAs English is not good enough to deal with my calls. Today I received a call and literally have no clue what it was about except that it appeared to be another excuse. Your treatment of me as a new customer has been totally shoddy. You have cost me money in wasted phone calls and days booked off work . I am literally at my wits end with your company.

Absolutely disgusted

I have been with AOL since 2007 the customer service with them was disgusting, I rang the other evening and got through to talk talk and was told this is aol's sister company and was offered a new contract £3.50 broadband £7.97 line rental, £5.00 unlimited calls total £16.47 I get my confirmation email its £16.97 calls £5.50 I call customer services to be told calls are £5.50 so I was lied to then I ask why I cant get on talk talk my account I am told use my aol account number and email and I will get on it tried no I cant get on it, so I have no way to access my account, then am told I will get a new router but wont need it, then am told by someone else yes I will need it, am told will not need to re register then told yes I will need to re register, so as you can see, I have been told no end of different stories and lies and customer service when I ring them pretty much cant answer my questions and just grunt when they reply I am very upset and am thinking of going to my bank tomorrow and cancelling my direct debit as I have been treated appallingly, I need to speak to someone from a british call centre asap my phone number is 07926 375179

Clear and easy to order

Very friendly and helpful.

The assistant was very friendly and helpful asking all the relevant questions and explaining the reason for each question. At the end asking me to repeat back what I have ordered is a useful way of avoiding conflict at a later date.

very efficient

Although it took a long time for them to explain every thing the phone call was free so did not cost me anyhting apart from my time. The price seems to be very good, and hopefully the service will be as good a s the call centre was. They have assured me that I will be able to get Broadband in our barn, which I hope that is the case, and that an engineer will be coming out to set up the broadband which is great as we are OAPs and not very good at that sort of thing.
