Terrible, avoid at all costs

No communication and never sent any update on my order. Ignored all my emails until I disputed the charge with my bank and continued to lie to act like it was my fault.

Nothing went right

Nothing went right. They messed up my order before, but I gave them a second chance.
They charged my card a full week before they shipped my products - a no no in credit card world.
I think they charge and then order from someone else.
Poor communication. No phone number and online communication not answered.
When my product arrived it wasn't what I ordered - ordered orange tobiko and received wasabi and black. Their explanation was they were out and "upgraded" my order. Ordered 2 types of salmon and they arrive not labeled. I asked which is which and they said I should be able to tell. I ordered Maine Uni and it was mushy instead of distinct pieces. I questioned sales tax on food, and it went unanswered as they were checking with "finance". Very disappointed and a neighbor had a similar experience. They only responded to my online communication when I said I would call my credit card company.

No response anymore

I had pleasant experiences with their products last year but had one trouble for which they promised credit for the next order. Now, they do not respond to any email or chat. I tried to contact them every day for 2 weeks. I am not sure if I will receive their products since I do not have any single response from them.

Better luck getting Sashimi from Temu

I don't know how this place is still allowed to operate. I ordered Uni since they were advertising their guarantee that I could get this order delivered by the time frame I needed. This was a big batch order for a party so I was happy to order from them since it would guarantee my order on time. Since I didn't receive any word or confirmation from them, I decided to e-mail them on the second business day for a tracking or an update on the shipment which I was given a phone number to text them for communication instead. This was rather sketchy, but I gave it a shot. They told me that they will send in a message to their partners in Japan where they sourced their sashimi. After I gave all the info they requested from my order, it was radio silence for the next week past my promised delivery date. I reached out multiple times that I lost count. The amount of responses? Two. Each response was a one word answer saying they can't help, but they will credit me for a future order. Why would I ever want a future order after going through hell to even get someone to speak to me. The second response was that they'll investigate this. Finally I decided to play along and agree to the credit a week and a half later. They responded with sending the shipment back to them. Strangely I had already told them I denied the delivery and have picture proof that the delivery was denied and sent back to them. They followed up with a response saying once their warehouse confirms that the order was returned they will issue the credit. Half a week after this last communication, I took picture proof that it made it to their warehouse so I again reached out to them and even offered to speak to the delivery courier service. Their delayed response was that they will reach out to the warehouse and get back to me within 24 hours. I waited another half week after this incident before I tried to reach out to them again about a week later only for them to ignore my calls and text messages. I finally decided to go to my credit card company and having them settle this. All in all, this took over a month and a half before finally disputing this with my credit card company. I can tell that they were prolonging the issue and giving me the run around as long as possible so that this was not disputable with my credit card company. So if you want to be given a headache for a hefty fee before they try and scam you, feel free to order here.

Don’t get scammed

First of all , they don’t list their phone number on their website. Ordered Uni for Mother’s Day 10 days in advance but didn’t deliver. No communication until I asked them repeatedly. Excuse was the quality was poor. It’s unbelievable that whole batch of Uni from Japan was bad. Did they wasted all wholesale orders for restaurants too?! I don’t think so. Don’t waste your time and money. It’s a scam, Especially not for individual consumers.

Fair Warning

While the Uni was good, albeit tossed around a bit, the fish showed some signs of freezer burn or other temperature abuse. After trimming it off, I wasn't left with much. However, my real complaint is that my order was incomplete with no communication and no refund for the undelivered item. My sliced abalone was left off. OK, understandable - so I contacted them through their Chat function. I get a response that the difference will be refunded in 3 -5 business days, Again, OK. But after several weeks when I reached out again, it was radio silence. First, back at the Chat feature, then an email. NO response. NO refund. So, it's buyer beware. Hope your luck is better than mine was. I spend quite a bit buying seafood and specialty items online. But not with these guys again.

Customer service is zero star.I ordered maine uni which was delivered like scrambled egg!Missing santa Barbara uni which also why I tried to buy it in the first place.Onlyvthe tamagoyaki was in good order.Never buy from this site.They do not answer their phone which goes to voicemail that is not set up.Also they said in their website that is overnight delivery but was one week late and they do not even message you what was going on.Only

Missing items again

It’s my 3rd or 4th time purchasing and while I enjoy the quality and price point, the level of communication prior to shipping is spotty. Most of my purchases have arrived missing items. This time the item was the uni which is why I decided to purchase.
I had to chase the company after an order was delivered without it only be told that the uni order was refunded. If there isn’t stock, communication should be BEFORE the order is delivered especially since an order is place 2-3 days in advance of delivery.
I understand it’s a small business but hope you guys can improve operations and stock management.

Uni was very sweet and amount was good

Uni was very sweet and amount was good. I was expecting next day delivery but it took 2 days.
Shipping was expensive but the quality was good
