Coach brilliant and comfortable but no hot drinks offered Gordon the driver was good and always felt safe, Angie the courier always pleasant and helpful. Other than old and needing some loving care everything else good. Staff lovely and helpful and chefs creations excellent.

I had a lovely time. Sharon and Dave were excellent. The hotel was very good and I made a number of new friends.

A thoroughly enjoyable holiday - A very good guide, an extremely competent driver, good food, interesting places to visit -what's not to like?

Lovely holiday in Weston-super-Mare. The included excursions on trains in Somerset and Worcestershire were superb and very well organised. Good choice of food and drink at the New Ocean Hotel, the staff were friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for you. We loved the Bingo every night with £100 top prize and the other entertainment was excellent. Our coach driver, Kyle, and tour guide, Jackie, were spot on, careful driving and Jackie was most knowledgeable and patient. Always good value for money on a Grand UK coach tour.

Value for money was exceptional.To get four nights decent accommodation,quality breakfast and dinner,superb evening entertainment and 3 half day trips,what more do you want!Met up with new friends and enjoyed your engaging staff,particularly John.

Great holiday,good hotel,good food,good weather,driver and tour manager excellent, only minor downside having to travel so far north to board the holiday coach to get to the south coast.

Always enjoy my holidays with Grand UK, wouldn't choose to go with anyone else.

My Bournemouth holiday was in a great hotel, great food, great company and enjoyable trips out.

The Good Companions tours are excellent, I just wish there were more. Sharon and Dave always make the trip so much fun.I had a really enjoyable holiday and looking forward to the next one.

This was the worst coach holiday I have ever been on. It was a Xmas break to Oxford.
They say they are proud to collect passengers from throughout the South East, East Anglia and the Home Counties and ‘joining our tours couldn’t be easier’.

It took all day for me to travel from Cambridge to Oxford, via Northampton (‘we use a dedicated transfer network which will take you to our Northampton Services interchange point’). What they don’t mention is the interminable time sitting in cold waiting rooms (and sometimes outside) as you wait for the transfers. It was chaotic and nobody even kept us informed. I left Cambridge at 9.15am and we arrived in Oxford at 17.00.

If you want spend all day getting from Cambridge to Oxford and having to sit in the freezing cold while you wait for connections, then this is what will happen. The journey back home was even worse.

The accommodation in Oxford was the Double Tree by Hilton Oxford Belfry, supposedly a four-star hotel . The room was admittedly good, but the food was mostly inedible and frankly not even worth a one-star rating. When I put my complaints to GrandUKHolidays, they were dismissive and basically said I was wrong (although they did admit that they had ‘received mixed reviews about the food’!)

I went away for Christmas break , the Burlington hotel in Torquay was horrendous,after a journey of 13 hours , all I wanted to do was have a bath , we were told to go straight into dinner but I needed to use the bathroom and when I went into dinner my soup had been left there to get cold as the dining earlier was freezing, when I complained & sent in pictures, they practically said I was a liar, we had no ice for drink they said we did, my room was freezing & when I complained they said there is a radiator all you have to do is plug it in , they said they put another radiator to make sure the room was warm but the other radiator didn’t work , I slept in a jumper and socks , the food was all frozen, I have some photos to show how bad the hotel was, Grand UK will not take any responsibility, most the people I spoke to had struggled this year having their heating allowance cancelled, I will not recommend this company ever again, if they took some responsibility I would except it but they will not

The Hotel,Room, Food , Entertainment was Excellent..Dave our Driver was very good, on the journey ,both ways & of course on the excursions..Our Tour Manager Sharron did everything to make us all well informed & made sure we were all comfortable ..They are a Fantastic Team together.’& Insend my thanks to them , for doing a great job…

Never travelled with Grand UK Holidays before so not sure what to expect but the trip was fantastic and truly exceeded our expectations. Very reasonable pick up time and the journey there and back was comfortable and very well managed and the drivers were great, as was our tour manager. The hotel was very good and the staff friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent excellent quality with a good variety of dishes to choose from. Entertainment each night was great, especially the lady violinist and the visit to the local pantomime was a great piece of entertainment. Really could not fault anything so would highly recommend. Well done for providing a very enjoyable Christmas!

Excellent Christmas break in daventry could not be faulted. The only downside was the length of time spent waiting at Northampton services for ongoing coaches.

Hotel, bedroom, food and coach driver were all excellent. The tour manager couldn't do more for us. Great Christmas experience in Eastbourne.

Well organised and a lovely hotel and excursions. Pleasant drivers.
BUT we won't do a long trip with GrandUKHolidays again. We travelled over 10 hours each way from Essex to Darlington. We waited at the pick up point, Northampton? For 2-1/2 hours each way. We couldn't get refreshments as we didn't know when our coach would arrive. So, sorry but not again.

We were met by the coach on time. Very good coach drivers and holiday rep. Very nice hotel. Good food and excellent entertainment.
