Untimely and confusing
On May 18 (8:06 PM Swedish time), I placed an order for one page certified translation. The online system first charged me 40 Euros for one page certified translation. I was expecting the delivery within 24 hours as it was clearly mentioned during the order. I did not receive any immediate email regarding the problem with my submitted file (contrary to the company representative's response to this post). After around 16 hours (on May 19, 11:59 AM Swedish time), one staff contacted me and asked for extra 30 Euros for a certified translation. They said their websystem calculated the price wrong. I was confused and asked them to send a regular translation as soon as possible. After almost 96 hours (May 21, 5:40 PM Swedish time) they delivered a translation on a simple MS word document. That could have been done by me. I was at least expecting a translation with an official letterhead. Later, I requested for a certified translation and agreed to pay the additional 30 euros. They wrote that the They said I now need to pay 70 euros more for the certified translation which meant my cost would be (40+70 euros). All I needed a signature and contact details of the translator and I was ready to pay the extra 30 Euros so that my cost would remain 70 Euros. I now feel cheated and my 40 Euros have gone to the garbage. The communication and delivery time were extremely bad.

Most of what you have stated above is incorrect!
The file you uploaded was corrupt and therefore our system gave an incorrect price on the translation. You were immediately informed about this and we explained that you had two options, we could refund you the full amount you paid or you could pay an extra EUR 30 and not 70 which you state above.
On the 19th of may we issued, in accordance with your instructions, an invoice on the extra amount our invoice number TNT_45115 an invoice that still remains unpaid.
In the meantime you changed you mind and asked for a non certified translation which is made by a non certified translator, this translation was delivered to you as a MS Word which is the normal way translations are delivered as long as they are not certified.
Once again you changed you mind and now (after the delivery) you wanted a certified translation. As the first translation wasn't certified and therefore not made by a certified translator we have to make a completely new translation and therefore you have to pay for a translator certified by Kammarkollegiet.
Confusing, I don't think so, there is a difference in price between certified and non certified translations as they are not made by the same translators, if they were then there wouldn't be any difference in price.
