The whole team were professional and efficient. They responded quickly to my queries and kept in touch throughout the sale. It was more complicated as I was selling the house for my mother who had moved into a care home but they made my experience much better than I had anticipated.

We have just completed the purchase of a property in Shipston on Stour and we cannot speak highly enough of our dealings with Sally, Kim and Sophie in the Shipston office. They have been very pleasant to deal with and helpful, efficient and open at all stages of the process. Very professional.

I recently used Peter Clarke to assist in the sale of my property.

After the initial contact, my file was passed too Renee to bring the chain together, this was a challenging chain consisting of five parties. Renee worked extremely hard to get all parties to exchange, where others in the process seemed to just sit back.

Renee was the ultimate professional and even kept me updated on days she was away from the office. She is a real credit to Peter Clarke

I would defiantly use Peter Clarke again, if Renee was managing my sale.

I wouldn’t recommend Peter Clarke based on the service I received from the Stratford upon Avon branch in particular Kerry and Harriet.
Firstly, we were told that all viewings would be done on one or a couple of days. This did not happen, all the viewings were scattered as and when it suited those who viewed. They did not take into consideration that we are both working full time from home, and this was not always practical.

On one of the viewing we were not home so asked that Kerry would hold on to the keys and put them through the letterbox when done. She held onto our keys for a week and we had to call the office to be told they would be dropped off but they were not dropped off until a further chaser.

Once we had sold, we were being called and emailed on a daily basis with regards to updates relating to matters being out of our control. Having found a buyer for our house they had set very unrealistic timescales to appease the buyers this was under two months. For any buyer this would have been the dream… and as such the buyers rightly so kept pushing for everything to be expedited.

We were specifically advised by Kerry to contact our management company ourselves in order to obtain a management pack as she advised that doing this ourselves would ‘speed up’ the process. As per her instruction we contacted the management company who were unable to liaise with us directly due to this being a matter that needed to be dealt with by the solicitor. As a result of the incorrect information, we endured over a month of constant calls and emails both from Harriet and Kerry asking what progress had been made with the management company. It even got to a point where Kerry pretended to be my partner to contact the management company herself. After a whole month had passed and no progress, I contacted my solicitor to advise that we are still waiting for the management pack, she made contact with the management company and within a day she was in receipt of the management pack because the request had to come from the solicitor. If we hadn’t been incorrectly advised in the first instance, we would have saved a lot of hassle.

We had a lot of calls and emails from them all in a chasing nature for the sole interest of the buyer, it genuinely felt like we were not their client who would have been paying for their service and the buyer was!

As a result of this our sale had fallen through and subsequently, we were not able to fulfil the purchase of our new home. We were left quite upset by the whole experience but they didn’t really care… once we were told the sale had fallen through they didn’t bother contacting us again until over a week later to ask if we wanted to relist our house again.

Absolutely disgusted with their basic lack of morals!
As a cash buyer who wanted to view a property I was informed there was no availability to show myself and my partner around a vacant property and would need to wait one week!
Guess what… despite being told I could not view the property any sooner, the property was viewed by someone else and an offer on the property accepted! Interestingly the so called manager of this shambolic estate agents was ‘unavailable’ to talk to me or call me back.
Vendor beware is all I can say as they certainly do not act on the best interests of the vendor and I’m so glad I have a scrupulous estate agent.

Micheal hawkins and his team have been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Very professional very proactive and supportive during every step of the process. I purchased a house in stratford and then used their services again to sell a house and during both services they were just amazing. I was approached by a small local firm who offered a lower cost but I am delighted that I chose to pay more and get such a great service. It’s also worthwhile to note the lower costs agents were way off on the valuations too. You might save a few £ but you will lose much more. Don’t hesitate go straight to Peter Clarke you won’t regret it.
