Visited this vets last week as my dog has lost weight,she has a skin infection, had some bloods done and was given meds ,recieved a phone call later that day saying bloods were fine the vet i saw was a woman and was lovely,(i didnt get her name ) i had a return visit today to check progress and saw a vet called andre ,again was lovely ,he was in no rush to get me out the door like other vet practices I have been to over the years ,he was thorough and answered any questions I asked even ones not connected to her present condition I really cannot rate these vets enough everyone from the receptionist,nurses and vets are fantastic

SILVERGREEN Veterinary Practice is the BEST.. We have used them since they opened.. The Care & Treatment is OUTSTANDING every time we have used them.. ALL Staff are Exceptional in whatever they do.. We would NEVER use any other Practice. People that complain need to learn to Communicate with people and ask Questions & Be Polite to all staff. The costs are also Good & Reasonable..

Today’s visit , the vet was kind and helpful . Andre they said his name was. When hit with a bill at the end of 90 quid for a chat and box pills we questioned the price . The reception is was blunt and said you have to pay for a solicitor every time you seem them and a vet is the Same .
I would suggest she have some serious customer care training. Very poor. No bill given at the end either.
Very bad receptionist .

This is an observation made by me and delt with by me
Quoted £600 for rear hip X-ray and three hours to do it.Not a problem one hour to get home, one hour to sort a few things out, one hour to get back.
Just got to my front door wife waving arms it’s been done ??????
Return to vets introduced my self take a seat please, arse not on chair there’s my dog “ already to go home”
Paid the bill off l went, next morning thought about it and l could not work it out, so l started asking questions, big mistake was no one there was speaking from the same book, even the vets the next evening never got it right.
For me red rag to bull “ it’s up to you tell me the truth or nationals get it “ by the time l got home the receptionist had rung up “ your money is in the bank”
Then put phone down
Make your own minds up “ask question and times don’t let them rule you it’s your pet friend family member

Admittedly I’m not registered at this vets and had to go on an emergency appointment as my elderly cat took a turn for the worst".I was very grateful that they fitted me in with an appointment. however the vet who saw me wasn’t at all compassionate I was clearly distraught towards my elderly dying cat..tipping out of the carrier, he could see how frail she was,and proceeded to roughly examine her. He agreed that it was best to put her to sleep..once in another room he took her off me carrying her with no support.. i heard her cry out ,when they put the cannula in..a nurse brought her back, to me and I was distress to see my cats head was jerking to one side like she was fitting,I took my cat and held her whilst he gave her the injection, after which he left the room and told me to take my time, the nurse didn’t come back in to help me with wrapping my cats body or to see if I was ok? I simply got up and left, the vet saw me walk past his room and didn’t say a thing! The receptionist was very helpful and compassionate.. I won’t be using this vets again, they are no where near as caring and kind as paddons.

Like to say a big big thank you to Ollie absolutely amazing vet our elderly staffie 17 went down hill yesterday I messaged Ollie about 4pm he replied straight away and said he could be at ours for 6 pm he was very polite and professional talked us through the process he was amazing

Been using Silver Green vet's since Maverick was a puppy. Everyone there are so helpful and they're open 7 days a week. Called them this Sunday morning and got an appointment just 2 hours later. First class service 😀

Absolutely awful treatment from this vets been with them a few years. But on Saturday my daughter took her house rabbit there with a broken leg! The vet said all she could do was to put him to sleep which wasn’t an option, then sent us to a vets in pboro that do not deal with rabbits either! They said a vet in Cambridge could possibly help for 4/6 thousand pounds! On the way home my daughter found a vet in north walsham that did the amputation for £1500 all covered by insurance!
Rabbit is doing well so my daughter emailed silvergreen to say some of their advice wasn’t valid and maybe they could keep the other vets information on file for future small animal owners. In the reply they said at our practice we could only put him to sleep! Then in the next sentence we didn’t suggest or advice this?? Then proceeded to tell us all our pets our senior dog and young cat are all kicked out of the practice!
So don’t ever try and get a second opinion with this practice unless you want your pet to LIVE!!

This vets are amazing. One of my cats got sick very late last night and we bought her in this morning for an emergency appointment after watching her all night. They were so quick to get us registered and seen too and made sure I understood what was wrong with her and what the plan is going forward.
They are open every day which helps for when there are emergencies on the weekend as our usual vets was closed and wanted nearly £400 to be seen during non open hours.
My baby is now on the way to recovery and I couldn’t be happier. Definitely will be changing vets in the next couple of weeks

What an excellent veterinary practice. Had to take my pet late at night out of hours for emergency treatment. Caring and knowledgable. They are open 7 days a week too! I’m so pleased with them and would definitely recommend them. Thank you!

We have only just started to use this veterinary clinic, but on the 2 occasions we have, they have been excellent, caring, explaining steps and most importantly discussing the options with us, before going ahead with treatment. They are also open 7 days, and have an out of hours service as well.
Highly recommended.
