Very impressed
I was extremely impressed with the clinic. All staff were very friendly and helpful, and made me feel really comfortable. It was the first time that I'd been to the site, it was clean, welcoming and I was informed of everything that I needed before, during and after my procedure.

I suffer with severe PMDD. I’ve been battling this for the last five years this year was like living in hell until I met Faye and Mr Masood what a team !!!

straight away I was put on a treatment plan of chemical menopause and then going into full hysterectomy, this is completely changed my life and I believe saved it. I would 100,000,000% recommend this team.

I recently had an open inguinal hernia surgery
I recently had an open inguinal hernia repair performed by Dr Neil Bhardwaj and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. The operation went smoothly and he completely repaired the hernia. Dr Bhardwaj is very experienced, highly approachable and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. The surgery has made a significant positive difference to my day-to-day life and I am extremely thankful for his care. I would highly recommend Dr Neil Bhardwaj to anyone needing similar treatment.
I had surgery at Spire Leicester Hospital. The medical staff were amazing, friendly, informative and they really helped put me at ease throughout my stay. However, the administrative side needs to be improved, as it took several weeks of chasing before I finally received my booking confirmation and there was also a mix-up between being a self-payer and being insured, even though I had made it clear through numerous calls that my insurance would be covering the surgery. Additionally, after my operation, I was discharged without being offered a wheelchair and had to walk down from the second floor to leave the hospital, which was difficult so soon after surgery. Overall, excellent clinical care but room for improvement in administration and patient support on discharge.

I have had 2 Cataracts between August…October 2025
I have had 2 Cataracts between August 2025 and
October 2025 now have a problem with my site
even with glasses now for short site only in my left eye
I have Ptosis and I know this can happen to elderly
people after tis surgery but even my appointment with
my Optician after they did not mention this although
it is visible. I am Diabetic so there can be complications with this surgery I could even have retina problems macular degeneration is at the
beginning so am waiting for Retinopathy next year.
Have awful trouble with by sight and make mistakes
even with new spectacles so feel inadequate instead of being confident and did not know some
people should not have this operation and I must be one of those.

had a right knee replacement with Mr Sam Rajaratnam
had a right knee replacement with Mr. Sam Rajaratnam just over two weeks ago on 3rd November 2025, and what I had feared would be a difficult and painful operation turned out to be completely painless. Sam is extremely kind, patient and reassuring — perfect for someone as nervous as I was. I had delayed doing this surgery for a year and a half and even cancelled the operation twice before finally going through with it!
Mr. Rajaratnam has built an outstanding team, including an exceptionally experienced anaesthetist, Dr. Barry Philips; a kind and highly competent nurse consultant, Ms. Christine Howis; and an excellent senior physiotherapist, Felicitas Gatti, who visits me at home to guide my post-operative exercises. I was also extremely impressed by all the medical staff at the Cleveland Clinic hospital, who provided exceptional care throughout my stay.
Whilst at the Cleveland, Sam visited me daily, and even came in today after my staples were removed to check on my progress. Mr. Rajaratnam’s expertise is evident—he has performed over 7,000 knee replacements—and the level of care and support I received was extraordinary. I was expecting a significant increase in pain once the stronger medication stopped a week after surgery, but to my surprise, I remained completely pain-free.
I am extremely grateful to Sam and his wonderful team. I’ll be back for my other knee as soon as I’m up and running again!

Car park is nightmare but Great hospital with friendly staff
Went private because i was getting no where with NHS and really wanted second opinion. My appointment was with Dr Rodriguez at manor (Nuffield) hospital.
I found the staff really nice and helpful and hospital nice and clean. I was seen within 10 mins of my appointment time and Dr Rodriguez was great took time explaining me everything i was with the Dr for nearly 45 mins which is unheard of in NHS. I came out more than happy and felt at ease for sure. I will go for follow later.
One big warning to anyone driving to manor Hospital in Oxford (Beech Rd, Headington) Beware the underground car park is a nightmare to get any parking so would advice to park on street some where it is really bad.
