Booked a private driver for pick up in Paris. Flight was diverted was told in my booking to liase with the driver.Told the driver 5 hours before original pick up time what the new pick up time was and agreed then 2 hrs before original pick up time said i had to ring Talixo which was booked through Expedia to make changes & they responded with any changes had to be made 3hrs before even though we explained that we had the texts from the driver 5hrs before they said it would be double charged if we still wanted to proceed. Expedia refused to help so i told them to shove it. The $120 I lost will cost them thousands of tims more as I know so many people that fly overseas & we all support each other so you wrong one of us means you wrong all.

Have been using Expedia for the last 5 years,never had a problem,till a flight from Rome to Manchester,in June 2023,booked through Expedia, with KLM,found the flight between Amsterdam and Manchester,we were on standby,and KLM wanted the checked baggage to be paid for again,this was paid with the original flight.Not sure who's blame,can't get answer from either,so weary of both Expedia and KLM,in the future

Expedia are blatant daylight robbers! I have been unable to use $7k flight credit with Virgin Australia as my trip was booked through Expedia to travel in May 2020, so I have to rebook with them. VA have stated I can use my credit, but Expedia refuse to acknowledge this. I am unwilling to forgo this much money. Expedia keep putting the phone down on me, putting me on hold, stating they will contact VA (which they never do). I am lost & have no idea how to recoup this significant amount of money!
Return Flights are a rip-off

Expedia booked me into a hotel which has been closed for a year! How can this happen? Don’t they correspond with the hotel? I am walking the Camino in Spain and I arrived late in the day to the tiny village, very tired, to find the hotel locked up. I had no idea where my luggage was delivered to. Expedia’s customer service people are extremely difficult to deal with. I eventually booked myself into a hotel, to which I had to walk a further few kilometres. There is no complaints department or area yo give reviews about Expedia itself. I would have liked some correspondence and apology. I will never trust Expedia again.
No refund despite booking in error
Thanks to the crappy mobile platform, which insisted I register to make a booking, I accidentally booked a hotel room under two separate bookings and was charged twice.
I called straight away to discuss the error and was told that they would need to seek a refund from the hotel. The hotel told me it was Expedia's decision. Either way, I have not secured a refund and am pretty pissed about it. Dreadful customer service all round! Will not use this service again.

looks like Expedia outsourced their customer service to a low cost call center, the call center agent can barely speak or understand english... have to repeat myself a few times and call center agent only knows how to read scripts.

Expedia, I want my refund! I booked a tour with you & the tour company cancelled our tour company (Lokafy Inc.), after changing the time to later in the day and then no one showed to take the tour. We sent a message via Whatsapp to the guide, then waited half an hour to call her, only to be told she was already on a tour. We contacted Lokafy and got an apology (twice) & was told we would recieve a refund, this was on the 16th March. I have call Expedia twice & have had three online chats & have been told I would be contacted with 72 hours everytime.......nothing. They feel that I should be dealing with the tour company, except I paid Expedia?
Best travel company I've ever dealt with
I'm very surprised to read the reviews I have about expedia AU. I've been using Expedia since early 2019 and have booked dozens and dozens of trips through them over the years including flights, hotels, hostels, car hires, tours, activities and everything else. Both domestic and international. I've never had an issue. Even getting money back during covid wasn't too much of a hassle. I've read the reviews about the customer service being terrible but in my experience, it's the best part. I've had to change or cancel things often and expedia help team have found a way to help everytime. I recommend them to everyone I know or, I just book through expedia myself for the whole group if I'm travelling with friends. My personal experience with expedia has been absolutely fantastic.

i will never use this agency again our bookings were mixed up we had to leave the hotel a night early even though we had paid a double booking because they could not understand we only wanted one room and not two which we were charged for cant get a refund they hang upon you and tell you their email address is not being used now i will never book with them again no matter what bad bad service

No way can you get a refund from expedia. Money down the toilet. Thought booking was going direct through to the motel and only after payment made did I realize it was not. These guys are crooks. Forewarned is forearmed. May as well burn your money as its a total fake; they will never refund you. We have tried phone, email, everything; all to no avail for two days

Deceiving customer
I had the worst experience booking car rental with expedia.First of all they did not mention that the provisional license were not allowed to hire a car . Due to this reason on our trip day we couldn,t get a car and hence were lost in the new city. when I called them for my refund they keep on telling me that they hyave to contact to the vendor. However the vendor clearly mentioned that its up to them to send the refund. Later they email me that it was clearly mentioned in their terms and condition . However, no such things were mentioned in the terms and condition. I have uploaded an image of the terms and conditions I got as a proof as well. This is just the warning message to the future customers to be aware of such reputed company, their policy and their customer service. I would give the a -100 star if possible.

Had credits (due to Covid) rebooked,last connecting flight (that I paid for)changed and didn’t connect,airline said I could change but expedia had to release and rebook flight,spent 4 hours(2 seperate calls)to be told they would have to rebook all flights costing me an extra $2400.00 dollars extra..extortion..rang airline re credits and will deal with them directly.will never use again and most of there phone numbers are disconnected..that tells you everything

Expedia stole my money. My flight got cancelled by the airline due to COVID ourbreak in Jan,2019. Expedia gave me the airline credit. Now I wanted to book a flight with same airlines for the same people for whom I had received the credit. While talking to an expedia agent about the booking, I got to know that I can use the credit only for the same source and destination as they were for the cancelled flights. How does that make sense?
Other flight booking platforms also had flight cancellations but I was able to use all the credits without any problem. This was never told to me while cancelling my flight. I asked to give me a refund since it was a COVID cancellation by the airline. I was denied by expedia. I did not get any support from them whatsoever. Moreover they asked me to reach out to the airline directly which was an unfair ask. Still I did that too and as expected airline told me that expedia deducted the money and they should give you the refund as it was cancelled due to COVID.
Hence expedia stole my money.

Expedia refuses to pay out my overdue refunds, even though I received their written confirmation for the refunds a long time ago.
They keep lying, making up fantasy content in their email replies and on their hotline. They are going the extra mile to make you mad and to avoid the actual payout of the refund at any cost!
Stay away from this company, there are way better options available.

Never used again I changed the flight agent tell me is free , is not , now is looks like it they didn’t change my date on hotel so I need to book hotel by my self, because is hard to contact with anyone there is absolutely wasted money this company. They should shut down . Is absolutely nightmare.

Be warned!!! As soon as problems come up with your booking be prepared to spend many frustrating hours in the waiting line to some call center. When you are lucky and you get finally through to a real person, she or he seem to be ill prepared and will cut you off when it gets too hard. They take your money but don't deliver the service you paid for.
I'd rate it zero stars if that would be possible!!!!
