After buying my vehicle
Before buying My vehicle, I specifically asked the sales team what would happen if something went wrong during the warranty period. I was reassured by both Sam and Joe that I could use a local garage or dealership for any repairs, which was important as I live more than 4 hours away.
Within a week of purchase, I had the csr checked by my local garage and a fault was found on the system. My local garage and main Porsche dealership confirmed the part needed costs £400. I asked the dealership to cover this under warranty so I could get it fixed by my local garage rather than travelling all that way, and even tried to compromise by offering to pay for the labour myself if they covered the part.
Despite this, the after-sales team refused. They only offered £150 towards the cost or insisted that I return the car to them — a 10-hour round trip — just so they could carry out the exact same repair my local garage would do. They have not been willing to compromise, and the process has involved constant back and forth with no real attempt to resolve things fairly.
This has made what should have been an exciting purchase unnecessarily stressful. The after-sales service has been unhelpful and has gone against what I was originally told and promised before the sale. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise future customers to be very cautious and get everything in writing, as verbal assurances will not be honoured.

My wife and l recently bought an Audi Q3 from Hitchfields Ltd where we met Sam, Mat and the team who have all been exceptional. From going on line and finding the high spec car we wanted, to driving 196 miles to pick it up when we met Sam. The transaction was very professional and smooth and the car looked and felt like new. We drove home feeling very satisfied with our new purchase. Due to the the hot weather we have been experiencing we opened up the sunroof, only to find that it would not close again, after repositioning one of the side mechanisms l managed to close it up.

I’ll keep this brief as I could go on at length regarding this unprofessional outfit.
Agreed a price through Mororway to sell my son’s Audi A4 Avant. I’ve sold cars previously on Mororway and the process was seamless. We gave a very honest appraisal of the vehicle online and frankly they were getting an even better deal as the vehicle still had 6 months of Audi used warranty left. Unfortunately this business employs a clown of a manager who tried to knock over £1,500 off the previously agreed price before coming back with higher offers but not up to the previously agreed price. This is NOT the way either me or my son do business and we sent them on their way to find some other mugs who will fall for their tactics.
I would use Mororway again based on previous good experience but suggest you AVOID Hitchfields Limited if they are the highest bidder for your vehicle as this was not a good experience at all.

Recently bought a car remotely from Hitchfields and had it delivered. Everything went smoothly and the car www exactly as described. Sam was very helpful and responsive to my queries. Highly recommended.

After driving for 4 hours and then waiting almost another 2 hours to be seen to (after being told they would be 2 mins) I was instantly hit with “you car is different to the pics”. I knew at this moment they were about to withdraw the offer they had already made and to lowball me.
He then left and half an hour later decided to come look at the car again.
He took over £3000 off the offer as he claimed I didn’t tell him about the damage. I did. He has the pictures and messages and if there were issues with the pictures why not mention before you sent me an offer?
He starts going on about how it needs new bumpers, wings, mirror caps (I will give him that one) because you can’t touch them up.
I had to interject and let him know I work in the industry and to stop lying to me. I think this is when things went sour.
They accused me of lying and trying to hide the damage on the car. I had sent the salesman himself pictures of the car and a separate message about the damage plus it’s an 11 year old car. It’s going to have wear and tear. Plus the fact I was taking the car for them to view..there was no gain for me to lie about my car.
The manager claimed it was because it was wet in the pictures. Again why not mention this at the time? It would have saved many problems.
He also did not know the salesman had agreed that if I liked the car I would be taking it home that day as I live too far away to go back and forth.
That was when I was informed the car wasn’t even prepped!!
why had your salesman been trying to get me to pay £500 the day previous to take away a car that you had not prepared. now is that kist cosmetic or were you about to take a deposit for a car that hasnt been in the workshop and could have major issues??
I still tried to work out a deal (stupidity on my behalf) but was just belittled by the manager and the sales manager until I walked off.
Nice selection of cars, unprofessional staff.
I would not even enquire with them in the future.
