I think Maximo liked the activity but he had high expectations and thought he will be getting much more out of it. For him, it felt just another Half Term activity - nothing he's going to specially re
I think Maximo liked the activity but he was happy it only lasted one day. He enjoyed the exploration of different techniques and the possibility of mixing subjects that do not usually go together.
To be honest, I found the space a bit too tight and contained for a very active 11 year old boy. In my opinion a more spacious, more open layout will allow the children to move more freely and explore his own interests and ideas.

Thank you for your review. This is very informative and will help others to attend or not. There are many art clubs to choose from and one learning style won't suit all. To clarify, we offer an educational approach which is fun and sociable, but we don't have room for kinetic activity.

my daughter enjoyed the class, it helped since the half term booking allowed us to do a 1/2 day class to see if she liked it. She loved it as her friend also came along, made the experience good for her.

My daughter loves it as she doesn’t do only drawings. She is painting, sculpting, using collages etc. Plus, the teachers’ team is very approachable and kind to the children.

Hello and thank you for your review. We share your desire to give students the best possible learning experience. All art-K branches have the same requirement for teacher/student ratios, and in this class, there are 18 students with 3 fully trained staff. The teachers are providing regular attention to students during the whole session. What you are seeing at the end of the session, is that the teachers balance the level of attention required (guidance, encouragement, improvement actions) with giving the student the opportunity to acquire a skill through learning and experimentation- which builds their self-confidence. Your art leader is now very experienced at art-K and continually work to get the balance right, and gets extra-ordinary results. Our company was started by Kathryn wanting the best start for her children. It remains a family-owned company run for the benefit of the students. Please be assured, all our teachers want to strike the right balance for the artistic and also emotional development of children which in the long run helps them enjoy learning art skills. Amazing class, perfect team !
My DD is been going to art k for a few terms now and she adores it. After every lesson, she's keen on showing everything she's been doing and things really take shape on those classes! As soon as you walk into the studio you are welcomed by very knowledgeable, patient and attentive staff. I would highly recommend this class and couldn't dream of a better team. Thank you to Karl & Kara (and rest of the team) for creating an inspirational enviroment for the children where they can be proud of their creations!

Art-K is absolutely amazing!
Art-K is absolutely amazing! The teaching of all different medium, the atmosphere, classroom and staff is 10/10! If you have an artistic child, teen, or yourself as an adult I would recommend signing up to attend Art-K.
My child looks forward to her class every week & is so excited about all the projects & bringing them home after.
The staff are very welcoming, super encouraging, and so kind & accommodating.

My son loves the classes!
My son has been attending the classes for over a month now and he absolutely loves it! His work is improving after every leason! The teacher (Karl) is enthusiastic and well organised, always awaits the children with their allocated seating prepared so they can dive into their art projects without any delay. He is super attentive, shows great interest in the work and has built an amazing relationahip with the group of kids!
