Great team who listened well during all of our consultations and gave me great coaching and advice. Having struggled with obesity for more than forty years, this has been a game changer. I realise that for me, obesity is a disease that the GLP-1 drugs can treat but not cure, and the body clinic has been very supportive on my intended plans for lower dose maintenance therapy. Medisch afvallen gestart omdat ik bij mijn huisarts geen andere medicatie kon krijgen nadat Saxenda voor mij,door de vele prikplekken, geen optie meer was. Ik voelde mij door de arts van Bodyclinic gehoord en zij dacht goed mee hoe de overstap naar Mounjaro te maken. Ook het contact met de andere medewerkers is even vriendelijk. De levering van de gekoelde medicatie verliep ook vriendelijk en professioneel. De medicatie is best prijzig maar de klantvriendelijkheid van de bodyclinic maakt dit ruimschoots goed.

Natuurlijk resultaat en minder hoofdpijn

Heel blij met het resultaat!
Ik heb voor het eerst een Botoxbehandeling voor mijn fronsrimpel laten doen en ben ontzettend tevreden. De behandeling verliep snel en ik werd goed op mijn gemak gesteld. Alles werd duidelijk uitgelegd en er was alle tijd voor mijn vragen.
Het resultaat is heel natuurlijk. Mijn fronsrimpel is mooi verzacht, maar ik kan nog steeds gewoon mijn gezichtsuitdrukking gebruiken. Ik zie er frisser en meer uitgerust uit.
Wat me daarnaast positief heeft verrast, is dat ik veel minder last heb van hoofdpijn en dat mijn voorhoofd veel ontspannener aanvoelt.

Very disappointed and having panic attacks
I received my first and only masseter Botox treatment at the end of November with Dr. Nicoline Nijman.
In the months following the treatment, I noticed what appeared to be sagging or jowling on one side of my face. Multiple people commented that it looked as though I had lost volume or weight on only one side of my face.
Nearly seven months later, I still perceive a noticeable asymmetry. Although the muscle itself seems to have recovered to a large extent, the skin on that side appears looser to me than it did before treatment. As a result, I feel that the overall shape of my face has changed significantly, which has had a considerable impact on my self-confidence.
Because I no longer live in Amsterdam, I was unable to attend an in-person follow-up appointment. I therefore asked whether my photographs could be reviewed remotely and sent the clinic a PDF documenting the changes I observed over time.
I also requested information regarding the number of units used during my treatment and asked for an explanation of the changes I experienced.
I have tried to remain patient and hopeful, but after almost seven months I am disappointed both by the outcome of the treatment and by the lack of timely follow-up regarding my concerns.
The uncertainty surrounding the situation has caused me significant distress. At times, I experienced panic attacks because I was struggling to understand what had happened and felt unable to obtain clear answers about the changes I perceived in my face.
‼️What I find most frustrating is that my repeated requests for written answers have not been addressed, despite contacting the clinic multiple times and explaining how concerned I am about the outcome.‼️
Edit:
I first contacted the clinic on 9 June 2026 regarding my request for access to my medical file. I did not receive the form needed to request my file until 15 June 2026.
During that period, I sent multiple follow-up emails because I was seeking answers and documentation relating to my treatment. Eventually, I compiled all of my correspondence into a single PDF and sent it to the clinic to demonstrate the timeline of my requests.
The clinic later provided my medical file, for which I am grateful. However, I remain disappointed by how long it took and by the lack of substantive answers to the questions I had raised.
In addition, I was initially sent a form referring to cheek fillers, even though my request concerned Botox treatment. I have never received cheek fillers and had to ask for this to be corrected.
Because I felt my concerns were not being adequately addressed, I ultimately submitted a complaint to DOKH.
I am also left wondering why a video consultation was offered only after I began posting reviews, rather than when I first raised my concerns. A video consultation could have been offered earlier while I was actively seeking guidance and answers about the changes I experienced.
This review reflects my personal experience and opinion as a patient.

With regard to your request for access to your medical records, we would like to explain that we are not permitted to release medical records immediately upon request. Due to applicable privacy and data protection regulations, we are legally required to complete an identity verification procedure before any medical information can be disclosed.
According to our records, your initial request for access to your medical file was received on 9 June 2026 at 23:44. On 11 June 2026 at 10:14, we informed you that your request had been received and was being processed. Subsequently, at 10:17 on the same day, your request was forwarded to the responsible department. Your file was then prepared as quickly as possible. However, we were only able to provide your records after receiving the completed verification documents, in accordance with the legal requirements for the release of medical information.
We would also like to clarify that the form you received was not a form specifically intended for dermal fillers, but a general form used for injectable treatments. This form is used for various injectable procedures, including botulinum toxin treatments.
Regarding the video consultation, we understand your question as to why this was not offered earlier. Within our clinic, follow-up assessments are normally conducted in person, as this allows our physicians to evaluate treatment outcomes as carefully and accurately as possible. Because an in-person consultation was not possible due to your residence outside the Netherlands, we offered a video consultation as an exception so that we could still review your concerns and discuss your situation with you. This is not part of our standard follow-up process, but rather a solution that was specifically offered in your case.
We are sorry that you felt you did not receive sufficient answers to your questions. That was never our intention. We remain willing to discuss your concerns with you and answer your questions as thoroughly as possible.
