Disappointed. Very tough and chewy. Even when soaked in water overnite. Qyite frankly a regular store bought ham is more flavorfull and tender I also got the petitevham which eas far betterbbut you discontinued that item. I had to discard the attic aged ham becsuse i just couldnt eat it.

We are sorry you were disappointed in the attic aged ham. It will be more dry and tough due to the fact it is aged over 210 days. The attic ham is a product of Burgers' Smokehouse, not Edwards. Soaking the ham will reduce the salt content but may not help with making it more tender.
Edwards Smokehouse still has the petite country ham and you can visit their website at edwardsvaham.com.
We will issue a half price refund back for the ham.
This ham was definitely not worth $70.$10 maximum. It tasted a bit gamey. Plenty of people love it, but we won’t be buying it again.

Ham was still cold when delivered. Excellent taste. Long time lover go country ham from eastern VA. Cannot get country ham in Florida. Visit Williamsburg, VA often to see family and always order tons of ham biscuits to take home from Chickahominy House there. When they went out of business, I asked where they got their ham from and Edward's was their source.

I was really disappointed with this ham. It stated fully cooked but honestly it looked raw. I warmed it in the oven with a glaze. When I took it out it appeared to be rolled up and separated into two pieces. That made it difficult to slice. The flavor was good but the presentation was awful

Excellent and very tender if sliced thin per directions. A bit salty but not like typical country ham I knew from my youth. For a handsize piece of meat, though, it was very expensive.

We loved the petite country ham. Very flavorful! We had a meal with neighbors that also loved it. Leftovers shared and still had plenty for country ham biscuits and 4 slices frozen for later!

I'm already familiar with Edwards and the Petite Country Ham through buying locally in VA - these hams mostly available during the holidays. The one ordered online did not disappoint and the packaging was superb. I wondered how the ham would do during shipment. They inclosed Ice Pacs that barely melted - so will try a purchase in warmer weather if they ship during that part of the year. My only negative is 2-3 pounds is a wide range for a fixed price.
