If you are a NASA fan or just a space enthusiast, this is the one volume you should own. Chaikin takes us from the early days of NASA through the eyes of the men who built and flew the rockets right down to the manned landings on the Moon. The rescanned photos are absolutely stunning. This is a must have if you are interested in the history of manned space exploration.

Thorough, well-researched, beautifully and bountifully illustrated. I bought it during the half-off sale, but it would be a bargain at full price.

The quality is evident in the finished article, as it should be, given the price and, I think the 3/4 size is actually perfect as a larger volume wouldn't really make it noticeably narrower, but would make it more difficult to handle when reading. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and am already considering another!

The book, "A Man On The Moon' by Andrew Chaikin is a magnificent book telling all about Neil Armstrong and his astronauts going to the moon and returning safely back to Earth in 1969. It is well worth reading all about the Apollo mission to the moon.

Looked amazing. I brought this as a present for my dad who absolutely loves everything to do with the Moon landings and the moon altogether. Perfect birthday present. I will be buying from you again in the near future.
