The idea is great the execution and price are not. The main issues i had was that all the pages were stuck together so even though they separated well every page has a discolored rip. The book stays together well enough but for the price id hope for a bit better build quality. Its a matter of time as my kids read the book with their mom before if falls apart like the previous book we bought with our older son. The character customization could use alot of work. Both my wife and son dont look like that but got as close as possible. You could add alot of hairstyles, facial and body features etc. The character that you choose to be on every page is a good idea. Maybe you could send a stuffed animal version with every book for a very small additional fee unless the animal is high quality then you could charge more. Over all we enjoy it. Hope to see it improve over time.

Quality and look were great! My wife absolutely loved it! Hasn’t been able to read it once without tearing up. The only issue I had with the book was they got the characters eyes mixed up. My wife and kids eye colors were reversed. Otherwise perfect!

The stories are blah at best. They have very poor flow, you can definitely tell it's a robot trying to rhyme that wrote this book. It's honestly a hard read, and my toddler gets bored halfway through do to the lack of captivation. Definitely not worth the $60

This is the third book I've ordered. The last was for my daughter and her first child. She was very excited and loved it. The pictures are a good depiction of her and my grandson son. I like the choice of stories to choose from. I just wish that they had a version with shorter stories to read. Although they are meaningful and funny. I feel some are to lengthy, especially when trying to read to a young child with little attention span. I've previously purchased the same addition for my daughter in law for her first child, then the Family version for my son on father's day after their second child arrived. It was a hit. I'll now need to look for the next book because baby number 3 is due any day. This is a good product, great colors and clarity in print, although a little on the expensive side for a paper back book, I would by it again.

It was a cool product, but the dedication page was either printed upside down or bound upside down when putting book together. Other than that it was cool.
