This was my first visit to Huws Gray York and, unfortunately, an item that showed as being in stock wasn’t available. However, the staff searched the warehouse and, when they couldn't find it, arranged for it to be delivered to me instead.When the wrong product arrived, a replacement was dispatched immediately.Although I was disappointed that the items weren't initially available, I have to give a huge thank you to Lisa (and the two drivers), who went above and beyond to make sure I received the products I needed the very same day.I rarely leave reviews, but Lisa was so helpful that I felt it was deserved. Thanks to her outstanding customer service, I was able to complete my roof on time.

Although advised by email that the item was ready to collect, on arriving in store I was advised the item had been discontinued and all stock was being returned to the Huws Gray depot. Fortunately, the store assistant allowed me into the stock room to try to locate the item. Various items were located, and I selected what I thought was the right item, as none had the part number. It turned out not to be the correct item, but a smaller version which still served the purpose for which it was bought. It is disappointing that Huws Gray will no longer stock electrical related items.

Order made by mistake, this was quickly refunded with great communication both by phone and email

What a great value service and product, only complaint is that no commutation from the Brentwood Depot regarding delivery it just arrived on a lorry luckily we had someone at h8e to accept delivery. But 100% would use them again next time i will call the deport and get the delivery date from them.

Delivery on time, courteous and efficient driver, and all goods as expected.

The ordering was simple and delivery swift, my only gripe is that the delivery date and time was not advised, just the products delivered - but quickly which was good.

Placing the order was easy and delivery was quick with the bag being lifted over the wall with ease, allowing me to empty at my leisure. The price was a lot cheaper for exactly the same product than a national supplier.
The soil looks good but the proof won't be until I start growing my veg in it next year.

Product was as expected and delivery was smooth and driver friendly and helpful.

I was having trouble placing an order, so phoned the store and the help I received was outstanding. Very helpful young man sorted everything for me. Delivery was also fantastic. Can't recommend enough.

Delivered what they said they would on time

After placing the order on line I got a follow up call to arrange delivery. The cement I ordered was out of stock so the lady informed me it had been replaced with a more expensive one but no extra charge. The delivery guy managed to drop the bulk bags exactly where requested meaning I could still get to my car charger. Faultless service.

So prompt with delivery. Placed where I liked on the drive , very considerate.
