i rang the local office to find out when my slate would be delivered. I was told that it did be already been delivered that morning. It hadn’t then the man said he had been outside and the delivery driver was just about to leave. I asked why I hadn’t been told what when the delivery day would be and he said he’d put it in an email and he had no idea what I would’ve received. It was only what he’d sent. He was rude and sarcastic. Also, it took an age to find out a phone number for the branch. It had a local Facebook page advertised, but I’m not on Facebook.

I placed an online order for some hardboard but couldn't see how to ask for it to be cut to a particular size. I phoned my local branch the next working day and they dealt with it straight away, even refusing my offer to pay the cutting charge aditionally. Great Service!

I was using another merchants in Horsforth Leeds but they shut down . So I thought Id try HuwsGray in Headingley Leeds .

Seacombe staff were very helpful. When the online stock did not exist they found my product and directed me to another depot that had my product.

Ordered electrical tool and paid for next day delivery. When not received i contacted my local branch who could see the order but hadn't received the stock. Advised to contact online sales. Response back next day from online sales to say as it wasnt an online order, (which it was) i needed to contact my local branch. Item eventually arrived the following day and I received a refund on next day charge after requesting it. A lot of hassle and poor customer service.

I was delighted with Huws Gray, the delivery could not have been more professional and efficient, and I would definitely order from them again. Great work guys, and I hope to order again soon.

Order confirmation said a staff member would contact to confirm delivery date etc, didnt happen, the lorry appeared at the gate one day, good job we were in. One of the lengths of wood had a bad split in it, which luckily, I could manage.

One week on and no delivery and no contact from branch to arrange delivery

Over a year ago, we bought some ceramic garden tiles from the Bletchley depot. Our builder at the time said he would collect them when he was ready, but due to ill health that never happened. Upon returning the depot over 12 months later, we were a little worried that the order would be lost or forgotten. No, the staff immediately knew who we were and showed us the pallet still waiting for us, then quickly arranged our new delivery. Amazing service! So a big thank you to the most helpful, funny and decent chaps at Huws Gray, Ian and Shane. You do the company credit!

Easy to order materials, great customer service and quick delivery.

I was supposed to get a message about delivery within 24 hours of ordering but it didn't happen. I phoned Monday and they said delivery was on Tuesday. Didn't arrive so phoned again when they said delivery now Wednesday but they phoned Wednesday pm saying it would now be Thurday. Finally arrived Thursday. Product OK buy hopeless customer service.
