The Samson’s dual-wall extruded aluminum frame resists bending and damage, unlike roll-form doors that warp easily. The screen is secured with flat spline, making it much harder to push out of the frame. How do you reinforce a sliding screen door? Start with a heavy-duty door. The Samson is designed from the ground up with strength in mind, using high-quality materials and construction to withstand pets, kids, and heavy use. Do screen doors come in standard sizes? Most standard sizes measure around 80" tall by 32"–36" wide. For a true fit, we recommend ordering a custom sliding screen door based on your specific opening. How do I measure for a replacement sliding screen door? Measure your existing door if it fits well. If you don’t have one, measure from tip-to-tip of the track and add 1/8" to the height, or measure from the bottom track up 1/4" into the top U-channel. View our full measuring guide for details.
