With increased competition pressure, travelling and stable time, modern equines don’t just need physical support, they also require mental support too. Omega ZenCalm® has been developed using a selection of natural ingredients known to support behaviour, mood and stress:
Brewers yeast tackles stress by supporting the digestive and nervous systems. Full of amino acids, it maintains healthy gut flora and digestion, which is linked to a balanced state of mind. It is also packed with complex B vitamins and minerals, the combination of which is known to support the nervous system and balance behaviours associated with stress, anxiety and mareishness.
Magnesium is widely known as the ‘anti-stress mineral’. It quickly depletes during exercise or stressful situations, and can lead to overly excitable behaviour and lowered concentration. At correct levels, it is linked to a balanced release of adrenaline and harmonising difficult behaviour, aiding a more relaxed, lower-stress approach to work.
Garlic is an incredibly supportive ingredient for maintaining the digestive system. It can create a healthy balance of good bacteria in the gut and gastrointestinal tract. Garlic is a powerful prebiotic, rich in a non-digestible carbohydrate called inulin, which feeds good bacteria. A healthily functioning digestive system is closely-linked to a balanced nervous system and calm temperament.
Chamomile has the same relaxing properties for a horse as it does a human, soothing both the nervous and digestive systems. It naturally calms anxious or stressed behaviour by supporting the nervous system.
In competition, one of the most important elements is a level-head. Horses and ponies that find it difficult to concentrate ultimately will not perform as well. Every horse metabolism is different. I thought that I'd try Zencalm because it is a very reasonable price. Whilst it had some effect it was not as effective as a previous alternative that I have used, so I will not be using it again. Another horse will probably be different.

As my three are stabled 23 hrs a day due to awful mud in field. So they’re all on Zencalm and it works perfectly to allow exercise without over excitement.

I've got my ex-racer on this product as I've tried others that haven't worked. Now he also has ulcers so that contributes to his behaviour at times. But since being on Zencalm his general demeanour is that of a total teddy bear. His ulcers (which are being treated) had made him really miserable, grumpy, spooky and sensitive. I found that Zencalm had taken the edge of of this behaviour and he's back to being so lovely. Now I just pray his ulcer treatment keeps working.

My horse would not eat Zencalm in her feed. It smells awful, like dried fish. Very disappointed ☹️

Best calmer on the market! My horse is anxious & spooky at times and with this supplement it manages him perfectly, keeping him calm & happy at all times! I have tried other campers but this is the one that has made the most difference in making him happiest!
