02/06/2026: Ellie at the Bolton branch was very patient with us and was fantastic. Was able to purchase a great sofa. Let’s hope it’s even better when it arrives and lands in our lounge. Can’t wait.

Update: 19/06/2025 -The customer service advisor that I spoke to, to amend the delivery date was incredibly rude. An extra charge of £129 was being placed. I was told if I asked to speak to a supervisor, he would hang-up. I hadn’t raised my voice, shown distress nor did I use inappropriate language. I’ve never experienced anything like it. Sofology - you need to hire people that have the skills to engage and show empathy. Worst customer experience I’ve ever endured.

We came into your bolton store 3 times to look at the same sofa that we just couldn't make a decision on, each time we were greeted by Taneesha, she was so helpful and knowledgeable and extremely patient! We changed our minds on what we wanted a good 17 or so times but Taneesha was fine with this giving helpful suggestions and always with a smile on her face.

Did not like the sales pitch for insurance,cleaning products etc but that is the same everywhere. Two guys we delt with John & Ash were helpful

John was excellent from start to finish and made the shopping experience easy and enjoyable.

We was greeted by Ellie who was very professional and knowledgeable , about any of the sofas we were interested in , once we had decided which we wanted , Ellie was very patient with us and explained all our opinions which were in our budget. She's a real credit to the team and would recommend sofology to everyone .

Extremely disappointed with Sofology. I purchased a high-end sofa that was delivered with the incorrect feet, rendering it completely unusable and "not as described" under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Despite multiple phone calls and a physical visit to the store, I am stuck in a cycle of broken promises. Every time I call, I am told to "wait a further 48–72 hours" for a callback that never happens. It is unacceptable to pay a premium price for furniture and be left with the item sitting on the floor with no timeline for a resolution.

I have now followed all internal processes with no success. Consider this a formal notice that if the correct parts are not supplied within 14 days, I will be escalating this via a Section 75 claim and the Furniture & Home Improvement ombudsman.

Avoid this company until they prove they can handle basic delivery errors and respect their customers' time.

Laura in the Bolton store was very helpful and friendly. She came over showing us how the touch screen worked and that sold it for us. Not pushy at all.

I went for a look around. Went to DFS first - lovely staff. Couldn’t see what I wanted. On the same retail park was Sofology. I’ve had a suite from there before - no issues. Browsed and went home with ideas. Went back a few weeks later. The staff are amazingly knowledgeable! One recognised we’d been there before and watched us gravitate to the same suite from the first visit. Nothing was a problem - tweaks with the covering (we have cats) tweaks to the format of the couch suite no issues. So friendly - no hard sell. I would recommend every time.
