Friendly staff and a good system where they load your basket but don't pressure to buy at the time. They make the sale but give you time to reflect before the final purchase, online.

Great experience in Orpington store and over the phone

Great experience. I was greeted immediately by Zacklyn in the Orpington store. She was very attentive. I called her a week after leaving the store and she talked me through the online ordering process. She was very polite and patient.

The staff seemed very unhappy and miserable, unwilling to get off the sofa. It felt like I was taking them away from their mobile phones. I had to keep asking for help, as no assistance was offered. T


I was very disappointed with the service I received. The staff seemed more interested in their mobile phones than assisting me. I had to repeatedly go up and ask for help, as no assistance was being offered. It made me feel like walking out. I’ve had a better experience with the staff on Sunday, honestly, this experience will make me think twice about coming back to the store on weekdays.
The staff seemed very unhappy and miserable, unwilling to get off the sofa. It felt like I was taking them away from their mobile phones. I had to keep asking for help, as no assistance was offered. This made me feel like walking out, and while I’ve had better experiences before, this visit will make me think twice about returning on weekdays.

Relaxed, informal experience

We were well treated - left alone to browse without feeling awkward, and staff were supportive in answering our questions once we had decided on our sofa choice.

No communication regarding delivery

Ordered and paid for sofas. Delivery up to 6 weeks. Now week 7 and no communication whatsoever. Phoned store last week. Told me to ring if no email in another week. Not impressed and have been told cannot cancel order, just have to wait. I would not shop there again

Great experience with Sofology

Great experience with Sofology! I was looking for my 1st special sofa and was looked after by Zacklyn. She was fantastic, very knowledgeable and very kind to spend over an hour jumping from sofa to sofa with me :) She listen to what I wanted and showed me options for exactly that, always making sure i relay any questions. Because of such enjoyable experience I decided to place my order with her there and then. I’m excited for my delivery and would definitely recommend in store experience! Which I will do again for a new Loveseat next :)

UPDATE DELIVERY: I received my sofa and wanted to update that my delivery process was very good. Originally date when putting order was 5 Nov, I received email prior to that confirming delivery booked for 7th. A day before sms and email came with a slot for next day and luckily I was Drop 2. Delivery guys also called half hour before on a day to let me know they close by. No problems getting sofa in and gents took their shoes off which i find very respectful.
For the quality and comfort i will need some time to test and will update!

My partner and I visited Sofology in…

My partner and I visited Sofology in Orpington with a rough idea of a sofa we wanted to buy from another business. Shortly after entering we were approached by Hayley (H - apologies for not correct spelling of name) who asked us if we needed any help, we explained we were browsing after deciding on another sofa elsewhere. H said that's absolutely fine feel free to look around and if we need anything to let her know. Then my partner spotted a similar sofa to the prior one we decided on which came with more colour options. Well even though we looked around the decision had been made which my partner announced to H and we then proceeded to look at purchasing the sofa. H explained the buying process and answered all our questions in a very friendly and professional manner and eased us when applying for the finance option as I personally thought my recent changes in address and career would affect my Credit rating which they didn't which left us both feeling that Sofology was definitely the right place to buy our new sofa from.
