Replacement for an older generation "backup iPad" at home - happy to find something that will last me several years for far less than new.

Many reviews point out this is one of the best values in the iPad market, especially compared to the much higher capital investment in a "later" model. This one has everything we use regularly and will still be supported by Apple for several more years.
