Martin's 6:30am LIFT class
I don’t often venture into the gym. I’m usually quite content working out at home, but Martin Leslie’s 6:30am Lift class might have just converted me.From the moment it started, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a gentle ease in. It was a full strength and conditioning session wrapped up as what I can only describe as a delightful punishment package. Martin brings a brilliant mix of motivation, structure and perfectly timed encouragement that somehow gets you to push further than you thought you would.The atmosphere was spot on. Everyone working hard in their own way, with a real sense of shared energy across the room.The tunes were banging and genuinely helped carry me through those moments where I might otherwise have questioned my life choices.I left feeling equal parts accomplished and slightly betrayed by my own legs.I already know I’m going to wake up tomorrow wondering who poured concrete into my glutes.Highly recommend.

There is always something that doesn’t…
There is always something that doesn’t work. The air conditioning is not on when is boiling outside and is on when is freezing, I don’t understand. Men’s Toilet always smells so bad. 👎🏻

We are equally as disappointed when, from time to time, things go wrong and equipment has to be placed out of order. Regular maintenance checks are undertaken, and any issues identified are escalated to engineers straight away. Sometimes, there may be a small wait whilst engineers attend to fix any issues, but we endeavour to resolve these as soon as possible.
If you have any concerns about specific pieces of equipment in your gym, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

PLEASE PUT ROLLER BLINDS UP IN FRONT OF THE TREADMILLS, the sun is so bright in the morning the treadmills are basically empty as the sun shines straight into your eyes and it gets super hot.

Pretty positive so far
Pretty positive so far. Specifically, Rushai has a wonderful job in welcoming not just to the team but also to the company. I'm sure he will have a gym of his own to manage in no time. The 2 mentors that I have had virtual meetings with have also been very supportive, and these calls are something that I would recommend quite highly.
The team is very friendly includes Nathan, Owen, Yacob, Kwame, and Vanessa along with 3 rent-only trainers. In another Puregym near me... Troy, Marcus and Rachel have also been very welcoming to a friend of mine that has started at another Puregym location in the region.
A shout out also Kaylan who's the General/Gym Manager, and Cluster Manager who is ensuring I complete my onboarding with zero issues. So far so good. I'm very much looking forward to the process of commencing a progression plan. It's a company that feels like the "right fit" so it's a shame I never tried it out before as a member (and not on a guest pass).

Lift class
I attended Nathan’s lift class on Thursday 16th January which I absolutely loved and speaking to the other members who attended, they thoroughly enjoyed it too.
I would like to know why this class is no longer on the timetable? It was a great turnout of people and I want it back as it’s a completely different class to the rest and so much fun.

sport water machine is completely drained
This is a good gym with good amount of equipments the thing is i pay 37£ pounds including sport water but its been 2months since all the flavours has been finished now im just getting plain water every time hoping you guys must have refilled the sport waters but no no staffs are looking into even tho i raised the issue many times with them so i suggest nobody should buy plus membership and waste money go for normal membership which is cheaper and even me is gonna downgrade to normal. I wasted 2months paying extra money which they aint gonna refund. Hopefully they understand this and try to make gym better

Amazing local gym
The gym is clean and offers a wide range of classes. I don’t really use any of the machines available, only the the treadmill. Most of the instructors are very good and welcoming. The only downside is that the gym is, most of the time, freezing. The ac, especially in the changing rooms, is extremely cold. Other than that I love it.

Temperatures and air conditioning in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Nathan and Owen played a vital role in fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Since their absence, the experience feels different, and their unique contributions are deeply missed. If there’s any possibility to bring them back, I believe it would greatly enhance the overall atmosphere.
Additionally, I wanted to mention the timing of the MetCon sessions. Having them in the evening was highly convenient and well-suited for many of us. Bringing back evening MetCon would be greatly appreciated and would help accommodate diverse schedules while maintaining high participation and energy levels.
Thank you for considering this feedback. I truly appreciate the effort put into creating an excellent experience for everyone.

Joining the gym was a straightforward…
Joining the gym was a straightforward experience and my first gym sessions was great. Pure gym was larger than my previous gym making it easy to do my workouts without waiting for equipment. Glad I made the change.
