My experience at the Melksham sk:n clinic was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

I booked a consultation after my GP confirmed I was suitable for treatment and recommended sk:n as a reputable clinic. Before anyone even asked what I was coming in for or listened to my concerns, the priority seemed to be taking payment. I was required to pay the £50 consultation fee immediately, and when I attended my appointment, I wasn't allowed to leave until the 'practitioner' double and triple checked that I had paid (even though I wasn't allowed to make an appointment without paying this fee?) It seemed the fee collection took priority over understanding or helping the patient.

The consultation itself lasted around 10 minutes. Rather than receiving a clear diagnosis or treatment plan, I was told the clinician wasn't sure whether the treatment was appropriate and suggested I book another consultation with a different clinician at an additional cost of £185. I left no better informed than when I arrived.

Concerned by the lack of certainty, I sought a second opinion at another reputable clinic (Revitalise Skincare Clinic in Bath). They diagnosed the issue, carried out the treatment, and arranged follow-up appointments all in the same visit. That experience made it very difficult to understand why I had been asked to pay an additional £185 simply to establish whether I could have the treatment.

The way my complaint was handled was just as disappointing. My calls went unanswered, so I had to drive to the clinic to speak to the manager in person. I was promised a response within a week but heard nothing for two weeks and had to chase them myself. The response I eventually received did not accurately reflect what happened during my appointment, including claiming I had declined a skin scan that I was never offered.

Based on my experience, it's easy to see why the clinic often appears to be empty. The service felt inexperienced, the complaints process was unprofessional, and I was left to chase a resolution every step of the way.

I would not recommend this clinic.

I just had my cyst removed today and wow they made me feel so comfortable, spoke me through every step to make sure I knew every detail to reassure me. When the procedure was in process, it was done with care and success within less than 10 minutes. Will be recommending to everyone and will definitely be going back for anything else needed in the future.

Simona was very knowledgeable and explained the laser procedure with care and clarity. I look forward to starting my treatment.

Very warm welcome from Katrina who made me feel very welcome and couldn’t have been more professional.
I was introduced to Gary the Surgeon who was so informative and allayed any fears I had. He talked me through the procedure and put me completely at ease. The procedure itself went exactly as described and the after effects were even better than he had told me.
Overall from the first visit to the aftercare they have been excellent and would definitely recommend them.

Katrina and Gary were both great, went in for a minor surgery but explained everything and made sure I felt completely comfortable and knew what was going to happen. The distraction conversation was very good and made me feel at ease and made the surgery fly it. Couldn’t fault it

SK:N Clinic in Liverpool is superb, I'm currently halfway through a course of laser tattoo removal and the results are great. Victoria is professional and friendly, and always takes the time to explain everything in detail. Reception staff always helpful and accomodating too. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot recommend skin Jubilee Street Brighton enough I had an appointment with Dr. Hosur who was absolutely amazing he is incredibly knowledgeable friendly and walked me through the entire procedure step-by-step his care didn’t stop there the after-care support he provided was excellent. I wouldn’t trust anybody else with my skin. He’s colleagues Harriet and Claire were also so kind and welcoming and helpful  I completely trust his team and this clinic and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I am absolutely thrilled with my results five stars all round. 

Paige did my hydra facial and was very good. She’s very attentive to details and has excellent customer service skills. I’ve used Skn numerous times over the years and has always received excellent service. 😊

I had a laser hair removal treatment with Marni at the SK:N Clinic in Edgbaston in Birmingham and it was a really wonderful experience! I was quite nervous for the treatment, but Marni was really patient and supportive throughout and it barely hurt at all. I recommend getting laser hair removal treatment with Marni at the clinic! Thank you!

Milisa at Manchester Bridgewater was extremely friendly and informative. The hydrafacial was amazing and my skin looks amazing. She also found great skincare to help my textured skin.

I absolutely love this place, my first time using skin & I would recommend to anyone to use for removing hair, im only on my 4th session and this works wonders for me! My confidence has grown & I feel so much more happy in myself, not hiding my face away anymore! The ladies are absolutely lovely are very caring, they want to do a good job so ask everytime I come how I’ve been getting on, I had Emma for my first one, then a few others girls they are all great! 4th session I had Emma back and we have such a laugh, she’s so kind & caring, & I love my visits to skin every 4 weeks! Would recommend skin in chelt!

I had an amazing experience with Emma and Nina during my laser treatment on my neck. From the moment I arrived in the Nottingham branch they made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. They were both incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything, making sure I felt confident throughout the entire process.

Their attention to detail and genuine care really stood out, and the treatment was much more comfortable than I expected because of their expertise. They were friendly, reassuring and went above and beyond to provide outstanding care.

I can’t recommend Emma and Nina highly enough. If you’re considering laser treatment, you’re in the best hands with them. Thank you both for such a fantastic experience I wouldn’t hesitate to come back!
