Customer service only till they have your money

I’ve had zero customer service from them beyond taking my cash and handing me the car. I live over 100 miles from the Nottingham branch, and it shows in how they’ve treated me.

On my first visit, I asked for a price reduction to take the car as is, so I wouldn’t have to make a second trip. They refused, promised to repair the bodywork properly, and agreed to cover my return train fare. When I came back, they’d simply T cut a few patches and left the stone chips and scratches they’d promised to fix.

Now they’re refusing to reimburse the train tickets. It’s been more than four weeks of chasing, resending ID, and being told “it’s on the way.” They either don’t care or think they can ignore me because they already have my cash and I live too far away to show up in person. And all this over £44. It’s not the money—it’s the principle.

They also never gave me the logbook (green slip) and keep fobbing me off with “six weeks in the post.”

At this point, I’m just hoping the car doesn’t develop a fault, because dealing with them again would be a nightmare. I wouldn’t trust a single thing the Nottingham branch says.

Double whammy

I had my car damaged whilst it was parked and to add insult to injury I hit a pot hole and got a puncture driving home. A classic double whammy if ever there was one.
A visit to Sytner Nottingham today has made me feel loads better. The body shop and tyre department were brilliant and the estimates were less than expected. Everyone was polite and respectful and I left there with a smile on my face. Very well done all and thank you

I recently visited here and had an amazing experience , I was interested in a vehicle I had seen online , I booked in to see the car and on the day was dealt with by Jess Grice, she was a great person and me and my wife were at ease the moment we met her , nothing was too much trouble and she already had the car inside for us to view , no rushing no pushy sales techniques it was so relaxed and at our own pace. We decided to test drive which Jess organised and came with us, she answered every question we had and gave us the full run down on the vehicle.
We didn’t end up purchasing after reserving the car but the service we received was brilliant and we thank her for that. My reservation money was returned promptly and I would return in an instance if in need of a vehicle again.
