This may have been our favorite Safari camp tent that we stayed in very luxurious beautiful well kept and designed we slept like babies. The 4 star rating is more for the communal areas the pool had no circulating water and look stagnant So it was not inviting and no one was enjoying it. The view was amazing but there was no relaxing bar area to sit in and generally had a hard time finding someone to make us a drink. The drinks that were included were very minimal at this location which we found different from all the other properties where you could have almost anything you wanted. The greeting at the beginning was very awkward The guide rushed us to the hotel and then took off for more passengers leaving us sitting there it took a few minutes which seemed longer to even be greeted and then even longer for them to offer us a drink so the check in process was not that great. As well as the checkout process They told us a certain time and then early in the morning had to change it and made us rush to get ready which we were hoping to relax that morning I understand that that happens but after they rushed us we still had time for breakfast and they argued with us over a charge that they thought we owed them for about 20 minutes so there was really no rush And then they realized they had the wrong customer and we did not know a thing so again another hectic checkout. Did not seem like there was always somebody around to assist with our needs and the staff that was around generally was in a corner on their phones. The shining light of this property was the accommodations and the restaurant staff the chef was amazing food was amazing and the service in the restaurant. I would recommend it completely just think that the common areas should be updated and possibly some better staff training Not in the restaurant though that was great Our guide that took us around the safaris was so knowledgeable and he was patient Steven took us everywhere He found us every animal beyond amazing this was probably the best Safari guide that we had when I asked the travel agent if I should do the Great Migration they didn't really give us a suggestion and Steven said it's a once in a lifetime let's do it so we took the two hour drive to the migration and we were so excited that we did it it brought tears to our eyes. He was a very patient and amazing guy and knew exactly what he was doing He was the shining star of the show
