I too fell victim to slick web site and advertising. I placed an order and subsequently checked reviews afterword. Two days after ordering , I emailed to cancel it and refund it as the order had not yet shipped. I subsequently was told it was too late. Tracking info proves otherwise. I began a daily dialogue via email only to be blatantly lied to repeatedly about origination of shipping address, and country of origin (China). Here’s the route it took:
12/29 Placed Order (evening)
1/1 Tried to cancel order
1/2 Tried to cancel order again as tracking shows the order had not yet processed
1/3 Order processed in evening
1/4 Order sorted
1/5 Order departed HFE international airport.
Hefei, capital of East China Anhui Province
1/5 Order arrives JFK airport, NY
1/7 Order arrives Harrisburg , PA
1/8 Order delivers to New Oxford, PA
1/8 Order repackaged for USPS shipping (afternoon)
1/10 Order leaves Harrisburg, PA (sorting facility) for deliver to NE Ohio
1/12 USPS delivers package AM
1/12 I wrote REFUSED PACKAGE WITHOUT OPENING and took it my local post office. They scanned it and gave me a tracking number number.
HERE IS THE MOST INCREDIBLE PART- The return address on unopened package was listed like this:
Hicksville
2650 Carlisle Pike
New Oxford, PA 17350
UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION - This address shows to be a SELF-STORAGE facility named:
KO Self Storage
2650 Carlisle Pike
New Oxford, PA 17350
