Friendly staff but terrible execution

Our experience with Sixt unfortunately turned into a farce marked by inefficient customer service, lack of communication, and a disappointing pickup process.

We attempted to use a corporate agreement that included an upgrade to Gold membership. Although we were repeatedly promised that the upgrade would be completed the same day, it ended up taking four days. Meanwhile, prices increased by approximately 50%. The staff in Denmark were friendly and helpful, eventually completing the booking through the employee portal (but still at 20% higher price). They also tried to coordinate with the office in New Zealand (NZ) to secure the original price, but without success. Upon arrival in NZ, the staff claimed they had never received any email from Denmark.

The pickup experience in NZ was a disappointment. We were initially given a VW Tiguan but quickly discovered that the windshield was damaged, requiring a replacement vehicle. Instead, we received an older Skoda—a clear downgrade with a poor infotainment system.

At the same time, the provided child seat turned out to be inadequate and dangerous for our baby. The staff were friendly, but their attempts to fix the issue was ad hoc or "made up", i.e., deviating from the manufacturer's recommendations. The solution was that we had to buy a new child seat ourselves, with a refund, but probably the cheapest models on the market. Further, then offering to help install the new car seat, the staff clearly did not have the knowledge to do it, making severe and dangerous mistakes in the process.

Three hours later, we were finally able to leave the rental location—with a worse car, a safe but low-quality child seat, and a lot of wasted time, which disrupted our evening plans.

This experience was far from the premium service one would expect. Expectations were not met, and the overall process was both frustrating and time-consuming. Sixt should work on improving their internal communication to ensure that customers receive the service and solutions they pay for.

Flinkt personale men elendig eksekvering

Vores oplevelse med Sixt endte desværre som en farce præget af ineffektiv kundeservice, manglende kommunikation og en skuffende afhentningsproces.

Vi forsøgte at benytte en firmaaftale, som inkluderede en opgradering til Guld-medlem. Selvom vi gentagne gange fik lovning på, at opgraderingen ville ske samme dag, tog det i realiteten fire dage. I mellemtiden steg priserne med cirka 50 %. De ansatte i Danmark var venlige og hjælpsomme og gennemførte til sidst bookingen via medarbejderportalen. De forsøgte også at koordinere med kontoret i New Zealand (NZ) for at sikre den oprindelige pris, men uden held. Ved ankomst i NZ hævdede personalet, at de aldrig havde modtaget nogen mail fra Danmark.

Afhentningen i NZ blev en skuffelse. Vi fik først udleveret en VW Tiguan, men opdagede hurtigt, at forruden var ødelagt, hvilket krævede en erstatningsbil. Vi fik i stedet en ældre Skoda – en tydelig nedgradering med et dårligt infotainmentsystem.

Samtidig viste den udleverede autostol sig at være utilstrækkelig. Personalet var venligt, men deres forsøg på at løse problemet afveg fra producentens anbefalinger. Løsningen blev, at vi selv måtte købe en ny autostol i Warehouse – en af de billigste modeller på markedet.

Tre timer senere kunne vi endelig forlade udlejningsstedet – med en ringere bil, en sikker, men lavkvalitets autostol og en masse spildt tid, hvilket skubbede vores aftenplaner.

Denne oplevelse var langt fra den premium-service, man kunne forvente. Forventningerne blev ikke indfriet, og den samlede proces var både frustrerende og tidskrævende. Sixt bør arbejde på at forbedre deres interne kommunikation og sikre, at kunder får den service og de løsninger, de betaler for.

Tak for din feedback. Vi er virkelig kede af at høre om jeres oplevelse med Sixt, og vi forstår fuldt ud jeres frustration over den besværlige proces og den utilfredsstillende service, I har oplevet – både i forbindelse med opgraderingen samt afhentningen i New Zealand.

Vi beklager naturligvis på vores kollegers vegne, at problematikken ikke blev håndteret bedre lokalt, og vi forstår, hvor frustrerende det må have været at bruge så meget tid og energi på dette. Da lejen er hentet i udlandet, har vi desværre ikke mulighed for at hjælpe direkte i denne sag, men vi anbefaler, at anmeldelsen flyttes til det rette domæne, eksempelvis Sixt.com, så vores internationale kolleger kan tage hånd om situationen.

300/60 Mbit connection not suitable for work

Fast 300/60 Mbit, coax connection with so many interruptions that I cannot work from home with many online meetings. Have to use mobile phone.
Cannot recommend paying the YouSee premium to get a stable connection, just go for one of the cheap providers.

Hurtig og fin service

Alt forløb som det skulle, bedre kan det jo ikke være. Modtog pakken indenfor 3 hverdage i en fin anonym indpakning.
Kan bestemt anbefales, desuden er de de eneste der forhandler en ordentlig størrelse :)

Ordrenummer: 65137 (og ja, vi modtager en lille godtepakke for at anmelde, men derfor er anmeldelsen stadig reel!)
