Stupid people work here!

The most stupidest people on the planet earth! A woman calls, tells me they can't read the delivery address they keyed printed off. asks me to provide the address to be found. Then asks me if they can change the delivery date, you do not have a choice so why ask? then they ask if Friday the next day they can deliver is okay. Dope! No just hold it till next year or Valentines crap is delivered that's why you bumped my "barivement" gift to the side. What a crock of crap! Florist deliveries yielded more than any other package. What type of company needs your permission to make the delivery on the next time and your left out in the cold! Do not use this company! What a crock of horse poop!

Ordered a gift for my boyfriend to be…

Ordered a gift for my boyfriend to be delivered on valentines day. It was delivered a full week early, which normally wouldnt be a complaint, but it completely ruined the surprise. Why give a delivery date option if you're just going to send it whenever you feel like it?
I cant speak about the contents or quality yet, but I'll be sure to review that as well.

Inept

Awful. Terrible. Inept. Ordered a get well basket that never arrived yet they say was delivered. A replacement order was sent which also never delivered. Customer service is sketchy at best. Still waiting for the refund. I won't hold my breath.

I received a gift basket and is was very nice. BUT there was no card inside to indicate who sent it to me. I contacted the company...explained the situation...asked for the name of the sender in order to thank the person. OVER AN HOUR ON THE PHONE WITH THEM. First they asked for the order number which was neither outside nor inside the box. (Only label was FedEx which would obviously have NO IDEA who sent me the gift). Then they said it was "against company policy" to give me the name of the sender. Refused to even give me a HINT, so I could puzzle it out and write a thank you note. In short, 1800 Baskets.com is a nightmare! In the interest of your sanity, stay away from these people!!!

Unreliable delivery

Unreliable delivery. Was supposed to be delivered specifically on Dec 12th. Got an email Dec 21st saying it couldn't be delivered. When I called they would not let me cancel the order but asked for another address to send it to. I gave them my address. They said it would be delivered that day. Still haven't seen it. After seeing the other reviews of similar problems I will dispute the charge on my credit card.

received a gift basket of poor quality...stale product. called to let them know. The person was going to send a replacement, but the "system" would not let her, so she processed a refund to the buyer. Makes no sense...refund to the buyer and the recipient is out of luck. Lesson learned do not sent out gifts from this company.

NIGHTMARE OVERALL !!! WARNING DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY !!!!!
FROM THE DAY I PLACED THE ORDER TO THE DELIVERY AND STILL WAITING FOR THIS COMPANY TO DELIVER.
I PLACED THE ORDER WITH A LIVE AGENT SPELLED OUT THE ADDRESS MULTIPLE TIMES I HAVE CALLED THE PAST FEW DAYS ASKING WHY THIS WAS NOT DELIVERED AND I FIND THAT THE INCOMPETENT AGENTS AND SUPERVISORS HAD THE WRONG ADDRESS. I HAD MADE OVER 15 CALLED THE PAST TWO DAYS TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYTHING WAS UPDATED AND CORRECTED AND THE LATEST WAS THEY WILL DELIVER TOMORROW . WHAT ??????????? INCOMPETENT UNPROFESSIONAL DISRESPECTFUL NO COMMON SENSE .

We ordered a Sympathy Basket for a professional colleague who lost his mom. We paid $141 including shipping. The basket that arrived looked nothing like the basket pictured online. The quality and presentation deserve negative stars. We were very embarrassed as an organization. I called Harry and David's customer service number as we ordered through their website and all email confirmations were sent to us by them. It took them 40 minutes to determine that we had to call 1 800 Gift Baskets with our "concerns". I just got off the phone with 1 800 Gift Basket and there isn't a dose of Xanax high enough or a bottle of vodka large enough to recalibrate my nerves. It was a 20+ minute circular conversation that involved me repeatedly explaining the issue as the rep responded offering different discount amounts they would offer us on a future order to express their apologies to us. It was absurd. Do NOT order from them. This isn't the first time we've had issues. We ordered a 1800 Flowers arrangement last year to be sent in sympathy to another colleague and it looked like a bouquet of weeds.

Horrible

Horrible. Horrible, horrible company. I placed an order at 430pm on Wed 7/2. I placed the order over the phone, I never recieved an email confirmation, I called back, they said they would send it . Nothing. Next morning, I was on their chat, I was advised to call the billing department which open at 7am-10am est. I called twice, the line goes dead. I then called the main line, which states its open 9am est. why when I called at 810am did someone answer? This is a shady company and I asked for my money back, telling me they cant cancel because of the deliver date being on 7/4. I also told them about the double charge and they said it would fall off in 3-5 busniness days????!!!! why are they double charging me. Shady as hell. Run away!!!!! I then demanded a manager on the phone, they never picked up the call..

I am LIVID

I am LIVID. My friends and I purchased a sympathy basket for another friend whose parent passed. I specified a specific date for delivery and that was NEVER communicated to fedex. I have called customer service repeatedly and I have reps on the line who either can't communicate effectively or are sitting there and are giggling on the other end of the line. When I ask for a supervisor, they tell me none are available. They tell me that they have miraculously gotten through to fedex inside of 5 minutes while I have been stuck on a Neverending automated loop. Then they tell me that the basket is going to sit on a truck for 3 days but not be delivered... EXCUSE ME??!? THERE'S FOOD IN THE BASKET!!?! I would have given ZERO stars to this company if I could!!!

Hate i had to choose one star

Hate i had to choose one star, this business deserve 0 stars. Very disappointed. Ordered Valentines Day order two items. Paid for shipping to ensure it would be delivered on time. However, it wasn't was told one package would be delivered by February 21, 2023. Placed the order on February 9th to ensure it would be delivered on time. One item from the order was delivered the day before the delivery date so that ruined the surprise. So i called customer service and had to changr the deliverydate as they wanted to ship it a day no one would be at the business. Very Very disappointed. First and last time ordering from this site.

Will never order from them again.

I purchased an order from them for $29.99 and my hubbys card was charged $106.90 and they kept saying on their end the charge was $55.00 with delivery included and her english was horrible,we kept going back and forth over the discrepancy and I asked if my husbands card would be refunded and she kept going back to (ON OUR END IT IS ONLY $55.00) so I got pissed off and hung up.

Avoid at all costs

They obviously don't care about their customers. For all the one star reviews they receive they've made no changes on their products, customer service and egregious business practices. Why they haven't been shut down or gone bankrupt is beyond me. Avoid at all costs.

Horrible awful customer service

Horrible awful customer service. I needed an order expedited so i called in. I was told the original order was cancelled, replaced and the new order would ship overnight at no charge to me but then they shipped BOTH ORDERS and CHARGED both orders. So I sent a sympathy gift for someone passing away and they sent two baskets, so embarrassing. I had to cancel the payment, just a nightmare. They were so incompetent, outsourced so impossible to communicate with. They would not reroute the original order they said they cancelled. I will never ever use them. Ugh.

They don't send the items ordered

I received a Thank you gift basket from a customer. Item 141017. I looked on their website to find out what one of the items was. Upon reviewing the list of items that were supposed to be in the basket there were eight items missing. I called the company and they said they would send a replacement basket. I asked them if they had the items that were missing and they said yes. When they sent the replacement basket six items were missing. When I saw that they are owned by 800 Flowers I understand why. I ordered a funeral arrangement for a close friend. After spending a lot of time picking out the exact item that I wanted to send I found out they sent something totally different. What's the point of having a catalog with items if you're not going to send those items?!! Very bad service. Bait and switch. $105 for $20 or $30 worth of items. Waste of money. It wasn't mine. Thank goodness.

Worst Experience Ever

I paid $80 to send my friend a basket as she was battling COVID and felt isolated. When I ordered, it didn’t tell me that the basket would arrive almost six days later. That wasn’t disclosed until later that evening. I attempted to cancel THE SAME DAY but the website had a “glitch.” The “glitch” wasn’t fixed until after 12:00 AM which meant I couldn’t cancel it. I reached out via chat and email and the customer service was just horrible. They told me they couldn’t cancel even though it was their system issue and the basket hadn’t even shipped yet. I continued emailing and they just stopped responding. By the time the basket arrived, my friend already tested negative and was already on the mend. A waste of money and energy. I genuinely would have ordered something completely different had they accommodated my request to cancel an item that they couldn’t deliver within a day or two (WHICH IS WHAT MOST SICK PEOPLE NEED)! Don’t waste your time if you value your money.
