BEWARE! £250 to tell me my boiler is knackered! Seriously! The plumbers were polite and knowledgeable but the charging structure is totally vicious! It turns out the call out fee includes zero work and you will be caned on top irrespective of the outcome. Do clarify this for yourselves BEFORE you buy to avoid disappointment!

Incompetent, unable to stick to any timings, impossible to get a call back.
The plumbers extremely unprofessional, messy and rude.
I do not recommend.

Emergency plumbers are expensive and we made the mistake of going through Swift Plumbing (3rd party) as it was a Maidstone number and we were desperate as water was everywhere and we couldn't turn the stopvalve off.
Anyway Onilson turned up after about half hour and was really pleasant to deal with. He fixed the burst pipe under the bathroom sink without issue and it took him about an hour. As we had gone through Swift the cost would have been a lot more as they tried to charge us for two hours and an admin fee, we managed to get that corrected and the admin fee finally omitted but still fairly expensive.
Onilson then fitted a new stopvalve which is easier for my mum to turn off in the result of any other emergency, we dealt with him direct for this (avoiding Swift) and the cost was satisfactory.
Would I recommend Onilson, yes.
Would I recommend Swift Emergency Plumbing most definetly not.
As I mentioned earlier you tend to not act completely rationally when returning home and greeted by floods of water damaging my mums new bungalow.
Onilson is a nice guy, maybe im just a little bitter for the cost of the emergency and should have used my negotiation skills a little more assertively! 😁
I give Onilson 5 stars and wouldn't have given Swift Plumbing any, they need to be avoided at all costs.

False statements made about why a repair was needed. Claimed 'radiator pipe was make in wrong install in the first fix'. House was made in 1980, but this 'first fix' fault came to light in 2025? Also claimed radiator was old and that's why the radiator pipe leak occured - again utter nonsense as verified by another heating engineer.

I tried using yesterday evening, absolute rip off.
Do not use as they will charge you a fortune.

Scammer of a company. Be truthful about your work!! I was charged £180 for ‘labour’ when the plumber was in and out within 15 minutes and did not fix the issue as the parts need replacing. I was invoiced stating the toilet valve was replaced. Very poor service and would definitely not recommend. Go someplace else that would do an honest charge and actually will get the work done.

247 Emergency Plumbing attended within the hour. Stated cost of call out and would advise what works are required when on site.

Confirmed mains water supply leak and remedial works required. All works completed just over a day. Photos provided before, open ground, damaged pipe, new pipe, closed ground and driveway and paving reinstated.

Clear transparent, professional with excellent communication.

Highly recommend using Nelson and I will use him again.

Onilson was great, arrived earlier than appointment,fixed leaking waste disposal unit, cleaned up and overall could ot have been better.

Plumber was very helpful!! And helped check something I wasn’t sure of, as well as fixing the issue at hand. He was also very understanding of the inconvenient parking situation, and i the fact that the landlord didn’t give us a mop… so yeah Nilsson was great. I also appreciate that the company was able to quote me the price for the call out + the first hour, whereas some other companies said they couldn’t give any idea of the price that it would come to once the plumber was there. I do wish they had told me that materials are not usually included. As well, when I booked for 9am, they told me the plumber would call 5mins before coming, instead, I got a call from the company around 8:30, saying the plumber would be there at 10 (he came around 10:20). I understand this happens, but in case, I thought people should know, and it was a bit problematic in terms of the rest of my day. Again, plumber was very helpful, maybe the company could give more of a heads up that the appointment is a window, if this is how that works?
