real con. had a problem with surestop valve. called them to come and remove the surestop and have have it connected to the original as it was already there. remove surestop and just put a pipe in between. the plumber comes in and asks me what the fault was. i explained.. but the first thing he tells me is, the pressure on the boiler is gone, needs to check the boiler. i turned him down and explained again. then he says, he needs to remove the toilet and replace it, i told him i dont want that. i showed him where the surestop was but he started arguing and throwing his weight around. i am a disablled and small person and the plumber was a big fella. i offered him his call out fee and not do the job, then he tells me he will do the job which then he started being nice and all he did was do what i told him. 10 minutes job, i know you pay for his experience not the job. but tells me i have to pay 460 when they told me its only 50. my wife got scared and paid it. didnt clean up, just left. honestly was glad he left but, that was daylight robbery with soem scare mongering. do not ever use these people,, also the money you teansfere to is not under their business name. So you have no leg to stand on. It is under MR F SEMAJ,

On their website states they will quote first.
On the phone they said £50 call out charge, and that the plumber would let me know how much it would be before he did any work as it would depend on materials used.
Plumber didn't give us a quote before he started work, but said he just needed to use plumbers tape and tighten some bolts.
10 minutes later the job is done and I'm told it's £498 and I'd receive an invoice detailing breakdown after I've paid.
I paid and and chasing twice, they finally sent the invoice over.
They charged £45 for the plumbers tape!
Considering the plumber left the empty container here so I could search it's cost - which ranged from 30p - 55p.
Tried to contact them by phone and email after to let then know I'm unhappy with the 8100% markup on materials and I don't get a responce.

It’s a complete FRAUD company, dishonest and complete Fraudsters, call-out charge £50 and then they charge extreme fees 400£ for changing 1 socket. On the phone they do NOT mention on purpose any extra charges . I guess that’s their usual practise as they asked to me to confirm that service was delivered.

Well, just another unhappy customer, echoing the exact same grievances expressed below by others. This is a total scam. Reasonable call out charges (£50 for a Sunday) followed by opaque overall costings, leading to extortionate pricing and bullying behaviour. Stay away. Also, reviews on their website are outright fraudulent, because there is no way to leave a review!

I had a very bad experiance with this company and have been fighting for my money back, since may with no luck, it saddens me to see since my expericance how many more have had the same issue

I was quoted a £50 call out charge plus if any work was done ...all that was needed was some sealent which was applied badly and i was charged £450 plus vat for a job that should cost no more that £100

The plumber would not leave my house without payment therefore i stupidly paid as i had to get back to work

Anyways as i have read so many of the exact same reviews i am going to take this guy to the small claims court hopfully make him think twice of the scam he is pulling on people who are in a panic at a vuneral moment which hes taking advantage of

Charged £444 for 5 minutes work after quoting £50 call out + labour.

Not a great customer experience

The actual electrician himself was competent and professional however:

1) Waited 4 hours instead of the promised 30 minutes
2) If you call them for updates they just put your on hold and they won't ever call back
3) Massively overpriced

Changing a switch for about 30 minutes job costs me more that 350£ plus VAT

My suggestion is to stay away fro this business

Horrific service. Avoid.
Arrived several hours after calling despite the arrival time advertised as 25 minutes, which left whole street without water for hours.
Charged us £762 for a leak and are now refusing to give a breakdown of costs, receipt, details of warranty and details for house insurance. After ringing to ask for the details to be sent I was shouted at and hung up on and now they won't answer my calls.

Said on the phone that it's £60 for a call-out "and the engineer will explain the other charges". Didn't let me know even though I tried pushing for an answer.

£60 call-out charge sounded reasonable, but I was still contemplating using them and they said someone was coming round and put the phone down, which was not good.

After coming round, in about 30-40 mins, which was better than the 70 mins iwas told. But refused to do anything without telling me the £60 was the call-out charge and included nothing other than observing the problem and for any work to be carried out (even trying to trace the issue), I would be charged £180 per hour, which sounded quite steep.

I told him not interested in having any work done, so he asked for £72. I told him it was £60, but he said VAT was added on. At no point had I been told that the £60 was excluding VAT or that VAT had to be added on.

Would I say they are scammers? Probably, but at least let's say be careful of these people.

Stay away from these. The guys that come to site are good, but its just a front for an overpriced service. I contacted sweet plumbing and a guy from 24/7proservices turned up, not the company listed here. Was told £60 call out fee, which is fine. I explicitly said this wasn't an emergency call and it could wait until in hours. The lady on the phone said it was fine and someone was available anyway. The chap turned up, did 20 minutes of work, the only parts needed were 4 inches of tape. I was then charged emergency rates at extortionate prices. £425 total, of which £30 was for materials, (the 4 inches of tape) for some basic tightening and sealing of a shower and toilet which took 20 minutes. The contractor was great but he clearly deals with this all the time, as my surprise, came as no surprise at all to him.
Do not use this company unless you want to part with a ridiculously unjusitified amount of money.
I'll be seeing what legal action i can take against these to recover some of this fee.

Quote a call-out charge on the phone, don't warn you that they're then £250+VAT an hour, do half a job, get you to pay then try and charge you again when you realise they've not fixed the issue. Then threatening over the phone and refusing to leave until paid their extortion. Still need to call out someone to fix the mess they left it's not sorted still.

Absolute scam, wish I’d had the time and patience to come to TrustPilot first to see the reviews for this company. Exactly like everyone says, mis-quote you on the phone ‘£60 for a call out fee and labour and parts’ and like an idiot, I didn’t ask the price of labour as I assumed it would be other plumber cost I’ve had previously (around £60 an hour).

We had a hose pipe that broke and was leaking water everywhere. The guy arrived in an hour but couldn’t fix it and left within an hour, just capping it and making a right mess of the property even though it’s currently on the market, which will do us no favours without a hose pipe and a messed up wall now. Capped the hose pipe so we could have water to the rest of the property and charged £445!! My jaw dropped to the floor (all while holding my 3-month old baby!).

Preying on peoples worst situations, avoid like the plague. We’re now going to have to pay someone else to actually fix it properly. Awful awful awful

Called back and said I think I would cancel due to overwhelming bad reviews, the guy got really arsey with me and put the phone down I rang back to say thats not ok, he had a go at me and then put the phone down again. My guy. This is why you wont get business. Silly man.

I would recommend these guys to everyone, they are life savers. Called at 11pm and they showed up straight away. Been in my house for less than 20 minutes and sorted it very quickly! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

They charged almost £500 for a tiny issue , lied on the phone is £50 , they take advantage when they see you're in a desperate situation. AVOID!

AVOID!! Absolute scammers! Called them for an emergency call out at 9am (in day work) they called me £50 call out fee and that the plumber will tell me the price before starting the work. He didn't. He completed the work without telling us the price. He then rang a number on his phone. Spoke to a guy called Anthony who said the cost was £450! Told them I am not paying more than £150 for it! Back and forth arguing over the price. He said he will send debt collectors. Send them. No one in the right mind will be backing the price for £450 to fix a flexible feed (about £12 from screw fix)

He asked for me to pay cash or bank transfer. When I went to the cash machine for the £150 the plumber had disappeared. Rang the number back. Said he was on another job and will call back. Rang Anthony back and he was driving

Not sure how they are running a business? Complete scam. Had a leak. They said 60 call out and I said no problem. The guy came out and said no issues with pipes etc just that my bath needed a bit of silicone. He added the silicone and it took him less than 5 minutes. The guy was not rude and was professional. I said how much? He then proceeds to call a number and this very rude and aggressive man on the other end of the phone starts to tell me £400 for a 5 minute job and how he was clear with costs in the initial call (which was not the truth at all because who has £400 laying around to just give someone for a 5 minute job). I find the whole experience absolutely insane! The man on the phone threatened debt collectors and I said I was ready to call the police! I still am ready to let the police know that this company is going around openly scamming people! They should be transparent with their costs from the beginning and say it will actually cost you £400 not £60 for a 5 minute job then fair enough. I mean really what type of operation is this.

Worst ever rip off scheme set up in a very smart way. I had to pay there and then to ensure that the person they sent was leaving my home. Intimidating and surely not qualified.

I am very happy with the service they provided. Professional and very quick plumber. 5 out of 5 stars 🙂

Don’t call them, Total rip off , money spinning scheme by the so called managing director. The charges are obscene for the time and material used on my issue. Also don’t trust their website reviews, which have been made to look like trustpilot, but they are not.
