DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I rented a car from them two weeks ago and they gave me a super old beat up Rav 4. The electric locks didn't work and neither did the horn, which is important for driving in Uganda, and the whole thing rattled while driving. We had driven this car for maybe 6 hours when the RADIATOR BLEW UP! Thankfully we were somewhere we could park the car but then when I called the company to let them know what happened they said it was my fault! Instead of providing any customer service, like a mechanic or someone to come and pick us up, they literally fought with me for a whole day, stranding us AND the car, and told me I had to pay for fixing the car! After locating a mechanic myself and having him start on repairs the mechanic spoke with the company and they refused to pay him saying that I would have to pay for everything. Absolutely horrible! I used this company because of the good reviews on google but I don't know how they have this many good reviews. SAVE YOURSELF AND STAY AWAY.

They still won't return my deposit. They have taken my $710. Pathetic. Just thievery.

I had a marvelous experience with 4x4 Car Hire Kampala Company. Right from the rental process, which was a quick one up to the journey with the Driver who made my journey perfect. I liked everything about the car. And the fact that it was in good condition, it made the journey smooth. I don't regret.

What the company is doing well is the good services that it is providing. I have used 4x4 Car Hire Kampala once that was in May last year when I was travelling to the East, I had to function to attend and needed a car immediately, so a friend told me to contact 4X4 Car Hire Kampala , went to their offices in Bukoto, discussed their terms and conditions , and they gave me the car , everything was okay with it. It was in good condition. The journey was smooth. Services are excellent
