Lack of communication
The quality of the rugs i bought is good but the issue with this company is their delay in shipping and lack of communication. I had to be the one reaching out in order to get an order update. I had bought from them before and I had the same experience. I didn't think it would happen again but it did.

Excellence
I was honestly thinking this would end up being a scam but I was proven wrong. My order was not shipped immediately and I was concerned. I reached out to customer service and they replied very politely and stated they were waiting on a new shipment.
My items arrived today and are even more gorgeous in person than I expected. Thank you for sending such a quality product. I immediately told my client to buy one for herself and I will be telling future clients as well.
Great customer support. I'll definitely be shopping with 54kibo in the future!

Update: Problem resolved!
*****UPDATE: A day after posting this review I heard from 54kibo and my issue was swiftly taken care of. I have been fully refunded. I don't think my experience reflects the general level of customer service this company offers. It was rooted in a UPS problem that 54kibo has apparently, never dealt with before. I am disappointed not to have been able to gift my daughter as originally planned but satisfied that the problem has been resolved.******* I placed an order with this company to send a gift to my daughter. The ship/delivery time was much shorter than the 5-7 business days estimated on their website which ordinarily might be a plus but in this case wasn’t. My daughter was not at home to receive the package and UPS, despite there being instructions on file to leave packages inside the apartment door when that’s the case, left it outside. My daughter never received the package. After notifying 54kibo, and going through a long process (weeks, during which I had to reach out for update repeatedly) of waiting for a UPS claim to be processed I was told that UPS had cancelled the claim due to my request (which never happened, why would I do that???) and “…sorry if this is not the response you expected of us.” So, my daughter never received the item and 54kibo still has my money. I’ve had to file a charge back. This company’s merchandise looks so beautiful and this was my first time ordering. Unfortunately my experience with customer service was not positive and not up to industry standards. I will not be ordering again.
