My team plays in the Finsbury Park 6-a-side league Monday nights. I've been playing there for over a year, maybe two.

5aside.org really makes everything completely easy for the team captains. The organisation is spot on. Refs are always on time, matches start and finish on time, and the refs are generally the best I've played with in terms of being fair and consistent. The 5aside.org website is very easy to navigate, reminder e-mails get sent out to players automatically to notify of fixtures etc. All very smooth and designed to make things as easy as possible to play footy. They also have been extremely helpful whenever we've been a player short - seem to have an endless pool of potential ringers and they always find someone to step in at last minute (they never just defer to "that's your problem"). I can't remember ever having had a game called off.

The pitch at Finsbury Park really is good - plays in all weather, is the right size for 6-a-side, no problems falling on it etc. Overall this attracts a good standard of footballer, and it means games are very competitive, but also the teams generally have a good camaraderie and nobody is going wild into tackles or anything like that.

Overall I'm very impressed and intend to cling on to our team's slot in the league as long as my legs hold out.

We played for 12 weeks in the Clapham Junction Tuesday late league and thoroughly enjoyed it. Amy our league manager maintained excellent communication with us throughout and provided out of hours support to help find both us and our opposition extra players which was great. The referee's were on the whole very friendly and we had some great games against very friendly opposition. A couple of the rules could do with changing (like Keepers having to roll it out) and we would have liked to have had a few more teams in our league. The website is great and overall it was decent value for money. We will be back!

I have played for the last 4 years at the islington 7 a-side ground and I have always been very impressed by how well it was run. We had a great ref, excellent pitch and we were always kept up to date by the management on any administrative issue relating to the league. The standard of football was always competitive, which made for a very enjoyable Sunday night game of ball!

We only played one season but everything was so efficiently organised. It was a well run league.

Excellent organization, communication and general set-up with referees/timings.

Teams and tone of league also worth a positive mention - competitive but friendly to the right degree.

Only slightly negative comment is on the facility itself and lack of access to any changing rooms.

The Battersea park Wednesday league has been a great place for RJR to showcase our talents and become the squad we are today.

It's been a highly positive experience so far and we've just renewed for our second season. The refs are great and officiate well, but myself and the rest of the team would love to see goal line technology introduced.

The organisers are quick to respond with any queries and usually have the results up by midday the next day. (Shout out to big Andy doing a great job).

You should be warned that at the Battersea ground, it is a blue pitch stained with the Chelsea logo which can make you feel rather uncomfortable to play on - we're looking to get it recoloured with the famous RJR colours but for now we all have to make do with what's there.

All in all, I highly recommend anyone looking for a place to play - it's a good competitive level and located near a few pubs and bars for post match celebrations - we've personally opted for the asparagus (our club sponsors).

Great league and well run. Pitch is a good size but goals are just a little big. Refs are good and thoroughly enjoyed playing.

Myself and my freinds joined the Islington Upper street league. It's a great little pitch with the amenities of upper street right next to it ( post match pint of course ). The Ref was spot on every week, and the teams varied in strength and styles so nice balanced season. We will be signing up for next season straight away. Good serious fun.

Decent standard, well organised, and with lots of help offered if a player or two missing.

We signed up for an evening 5s league about 10 weeks ago. The service has been excellent, the location is brilliant, both the website and payment system are very easy to use. Would recommend to anybody thinking about starting up a team and joining a league!

We've had a great time even though we finished runners up! The organisation has definitely improved since last year and using facebook has been a good move. 5aside.org have been flexible with finding extra players when needed and allowing time for payments to be made. Many thanks to Nick for continuous updates and support!

Good league with regular matches and strong fixtures.

We have played in a league organised by these guys for a couple of years now - always well organised and no problems. Would recommend!

Played in various leagues run by these guys for over 4 years now. Well organised; never had any issues. Nice teams on the whole too; not the normal bunch of chavs you find at many 5aside leagues.

Our company team has been playing footsie with 5aside.org for quite a few seasons already - and we are happy to continue. In Marlborough Gardens the pitch is high quality, the ref is a pro who keeps everything in control all the time, so you can play soft or hard, but there's not much space for a nasty play. Atmosphere is quite friendly too (apart from the most heated moments on the field), so most teams just come back every season for more fun. All the financial questions have always been decided in team's favour, so no complaints. The fee is slightly higher than in some other leagues, but not much of a difference.

Very well organised, the website is easy to navigate around to find the latest league standings and fixtures. Efficient communication from the league staff. Highly recommended.

Marlboro FC

I've run a team in 5 a side.org's Brixton league for the last four years. There are a number of reasons why I've stayed with this league. The pitches are good quality - the Brixton one is 4G rubber crumb and far superior to the sandy astro that everybody hates. The price is slightly cheaper than other leagues I've played in. Primarily though, the staff at 5 a side.org are excellent. The leagues are properly organised and competitive, the referees turn up on time and are friendly are fair and the staff are very easy to deal with - they've even helped me get players when I'm a man short, even at the very last minute on a Sunday afternoon when nobody is in the office.
I would strongly recommend joining one of their leagues if you're looking at starting a team or joining from another league.

We had a good time playing here. Very well co-ordinated. Hopefully the pitch will be upgraded to v2 astro, this will truly make it an exceptional pitch.

Very enjoyable 5-a-side league, regular referee is excellent, pitch is decent. Could have a better website, though it has improved vastly over the last year. Sometimes match times are slow to be organised at start of season as league format regularly changes.
