First it is a hassle to be able to pay for the music, then I've tried to download on different browsers and devices but the downloads do not work at all. If I use Google Chrome on my mobile, it seems that only the html of each release is downloaded.
I can't find anywhere to contact customer service for the downloads and the FAQ is too generic

As others have alleged, downloads no longer work. I tried 4 different methods - all failed. Customer services just claim the downloads are all working fine. Lodged a dispute with Paypal for refund.

Purchased music recently, and this is not the first time this has happened, but the file was faulty. I reported, received a thanks, but when I asked for refund... Nothing. They have not responded to any of my last four emails. Avoid.

I bought 23 songs in one order. Then I only received 11. It took screenshots of both the order and confirmation to check if I wasn't messing up.

But allas, I contacted support. Who told me I received the songs, and just ignored the 12 that are missing.

This is my preferred service for purchasing music. So far I bought almost 100 tracks from 7digital.
It is one of the few services which allows you to own your music (download it without DRM). You can buy by the album, or by the track and for most of the songs you can get both mp3 and flac format.
One minor inconvenience is that their selection is decent, but not great. Their Romanian music selection is not too good either.

This started out brilliantly but has turned to custard in the past 12 months in my preferred genre Blues.
Rubbish artists from obscure AI generated places. Hardly any reputable blues artists.
When some are located they have super ridiculous prices. Eg Elephant Revival (folk not blues) @$79+ per album. And others Ive previously complained about to no avail. There also is a disparity between the UK version and the NZ one. Why can't they be the same?
Unreliable for serious collector of music who are prepared to pay!

I think this site is fantastic. I did initially get an error on my downloads, but realized it was actually my computer blocking it. I simply had to allow the download, and all was good. I'm really happy I found this site.
So, anyone experiencing an issue on download, point to where your downloads are showing in browser, and click on the download. A pop-up will appear that says "continue to download." Select allow and your download will begin.

J'utilise 7digital depuis des années pour télécharger de la musique en toute légalité pour mes activités de danse. J'apprécie en particulier la possibilité de choisir une haute qualité pour les morceaux (choix entre mp3, flac et ogg dans la plupart des albums). Le téléchargement se fait facilement, morceau par morceau ou bien en une fois via dossier compressé. Auparavant, on pouvait régler directement par carte de crédit; maintenant ils passent par Paypal, ce qui rend le paiement un peu plus compliqué car je ne souhaite pas avoir de compte Paypal, mais cela marche tout de même. Ils m'ont répondu rapidement et personnellement une fois où j'avais eu un souci, donc il y a des humains derrière le site et c'est toujours appréciable.

As many others here, downloading is currently broken - I cannot download newly purchased content, nor the content I had purchased previously. I entered a support case, and two weeks later, have heard nothing (despite their claim to answer support requests in 2-3 business days).

Update - I finally got a response back, that I shuld try a different browser. I tried chrome, and the download worked, but I got a security warning that I was downloading from an insecure site. I bumped my review up to 3 stars, as it does work with some fiddling, but still dodgy with poor support.

I have spent a fortune with this company over the years and expected my purchases to be safe. Recently I only get an error message when I try to download any of the music I have bought. All of my devices tell me their website is not secure. Their social media has no presence since 2020. Trying to get hold of customer service is difficult and they have not offered me any solution at all. I'm increasing believing this is a scam company and I will now be reporting it to the relevant authority in the UK.

The digital music file had an error when trying to download. There is literally no way to contact customer service with this company. I've looked everywhere on their website, email, and socials and can find no customer contact form to reach someone for customer support. I took screenshots of the error which said "no download license available" after I purchased the music and attempted to download the files. With no way to access customer service, I can't get a refund on this music purchase. Buyer beware!!!

Je n'ai eu aucun soucis de téléchargement.
Les fichiers en .flac sont de très grandes qualités quelque soit le style, le genre ou l'artiste.
Dans la vraie vie, je suis professeur d'éducation musicale et donc sensible à la qualité de ce que j'écoute chez moi ou dans le cadre de mon travail avec différents dispositifs de diffusion.
Les fichiers que j'ai téléchargés sur 7digital ne m'ont jamais déçu.

Das Login ist einfach, die Suche schnell und zuverlässig. Der Zahlvorgang leider nur mittels PayPal möglich, was jedoch kein grosses Thema ist, dann ein PayPal-Konto kann rasch erstellt und mit mehreren Kreditkarten hinterlegt werden.
Der Download erfolgt zuverlässig auf dem Smartphone und auf dem PC/Laptop. Die Auswahl der verschiedenen Qualitäten (mp3/FLAC) finde ich sehr gut.
Die Käufe sind im Kundenkonto sofort auffindbar und der Download kann jederzeit wiederholt werden.
Die vielen negativen Kritiken kann ich keinesfalls nachvollziehen.

SCAM. Seeing other reviews I wish I had come hear first. Cannot find a contact form or proper help to try and listen to or download the one song I wanted as a tributeto a lost friend. They have my money, no way if getting in touch to get it back, I'll just cut my losses. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Damn it, they were even listed in a top ten 'where to download music' lists.

Purchased songs a while ago and was enjoying them for several years. Got a new sd card for a mobile device and was copying music from my pc and noticed a bunch of music was missing from my song library. I logged into 7digital and was able to re-download SOME of them but many others wanted me to RE-PURCHASE songs that I ALREADY PAID FOR. Also worth noting that there must be some sort of DRM that kicked in or something similar but it was definitely NOT mentioned during the purchase. Very disgusted with 7digital and would not recommend using them. Terrible companies like this are the reason many people turn to piracy, Why pay some 3rd party mp3 company that removes music and tries to extort more money out of you. It's clearly not going to the artist. What a scam.

I have had repeated issues with downloaded titles purchased from 7digital. This morning I forgot about those issues, and purchased 2 new titles. I had issues downloading them both- the downloads would just hang. I was finally able to download them, and found that one of the titles had numerous problems with the tracks in it- the same file names reused multiple times(and thus named (1), etc.) and that not all tracks downloaded in the zip file. I searched my Gmail for 7digital's Help email address, only to find older emails where I dealt with the *exact* same problems with them, they would not fix or refund, and I ended up getting a PayPal refund. I am not going through that with them again. I deleted the downloads, removed the bookmark and history for 7digital in my browser, and this time will never, *ever* order from them again.

I purchased, paid and downloaded lots over months.
When I accidentaly lost a song, I turned to "your music" on their home page to download my song I'd purchased months ago, they're NOT able to remember that one song, promoting me to buy again under "your music"!!! I thought this was a record of all my music purchased for keeps.

I bought a number of tracks, paid for them via PayPal. Got my receipt from 7digital and a transaction email from PayPal. Then I tried to download the files. As soon as I hit the first download button the whole page locked and I was unable to move or hear anything. There was no help other than the usual automated advice. The advice concluded that if it didn’t work I should use the Contact Form - there was no form. I posted requests for help on the Comments form - no response. I went to their Facebook page and sent another request for help - no response.
Fortunately I had used PayPal who gave me an instant refund.
I have to say that ANY company that does not offer any way of effectively contacting Support/Cust.Service etc. should be avoided. If anyone wants to buy music online I would most strongly advise them NOT to use 7digital under any circumstances

Best quality digital music files, fast downloads and easy payment via PayPal. Had no issues, the website loads a little slow and now you have to find new music by searching the artist, but overall a very good experience.
Will also use Qobuz since sometimes 7digital doesn’t have the song or album in highest quality, but 7digital is cheaper and has most songs and albums I’m looking for.
