I love the liquid eyeshadow & liquid light lock highlighters!

I found Aboutface in Camden to be quite pricey fo start with but it does have a nice atmosphere and relaxing music. I had a gift card to use and booked a 1 hour massage and an eyebrow and eyelash tint which I paid extra for but on the day I was 15 minutes late. The traffic is horrendous on Narellan Road and I didnt foresee that time of day when I made the booking. Nevertheless I was not upset at losing 15minutes of my massage time because that was unserstandable because they were suposedly booked up. though when I arrived there there was hardly anyone in the spa and 5 of the staff were just standing around the receiption doing nothing. What really upset me was when my eyebrow and eyelash tint was also forfeited for no good reason. Just because I was 15 minutes late they not only took 15 minutes off the massage time but also cancelled my other two services and kept the money! I did not realise till I got to the car that only one hour had passed. I do not recommend this place as there are so many other spas that are more cost effective and more honest with their customers. That was an eye opening experience for me. Never again.

The short version of the story is, I placed an order during a sale that involved three free items with purchases over $50. I placed my order (over $50), but in reviewing it, noticed one of the free items wasn’t included. I emailed customer service with an inquiry about the item, and they immediately shipped the item in question and sent a very kind message with it. About-face’s customer service is outstanding. Many companies would have ignored my inquiry, as several cosmetic companies have done to me in the past, but about-face was eager to fix the issue and did so without question, and within 24 hours of my inquiry. I will continue to buy from them based on this excellent service. Customer service is a huge determining factor in whether or not I buy from a company more than once, and I’ve dropped several brands whose products I really love because of poor service and money lost due to poor service. I’m very happy to say about-face is not one of those companies that will just take your money and to heck with everything else; they care about repeat business and customer satisfaction. This is one company I will buy directly from forever, and would highly recommend to anyone. The products being fantastic is a factor as well, as AF products are super high quality, but the service makes me that much happier to spend my hard-earned money with them. Very highly recommend AF.

I’ve ordered to the UK about 3/4 times now and the delivery is so fast and reliable, everything comes packaged well!
The eye paints are incredible, pigmented but can be blended out. The shadow sticks are highly pigmented and the staying power is amazing, my personal faves are the matte lip sticks and the light lock powder highlighters. This is a brand I buy from again and again because the quality is THERE. Also they have permanently lowered their prices which is really nice 😊
