Misleading and Expensive
The initial reach out and discussion about what our business needs went great. I was very happy with how attentive they seemed to be about what we needed to help grow our small business. Over time, and after several thousands of dollars, the core projects I brought to them for help with, ended up all being 'extra billable projects' according to their management. Although my proposal and conversations with the sales team led me to believe my pricing was based on the core projects I asked to get assistance with. I tried to overlook that and focus on the end goal, a better system for our team and operations. However, the handling I received from Nancy Gordon was the last straw and I decided to cancel my business with them. Other staff members are exceptional and wonderful to work with: Sam, Tori, Stacey and Joy. Although it didn't work out for us, I'm thankful I did get to interact with those members. I would not recommend Accounting Department.com for anything outside of basic bookkeeping.
