Really great community to be part of. From top casting directors, directors and agents giving valuable advice on how to navigate through the industry and who to email, what to email and when. Actors sharing their success stories and being inspirational and great advice on how to edit your showreel so it stands out and gets you noticed.

In the few short months that I have been a member it has really helped me develop and increase my knowledge of the industry. If you’re an actor and especially if you’re starting out Act on This will help save you loads of time that can be wasted if you’re trying to figure things out on your own. Overall it’s great motivation to keep you pushing through one of the hardest industries to crack

This is a great community for actors wanting to learn more about the industry and understand all things involved in getting TV and/or film work. I can honestly say I learned more about self tapes, auditioning, casting then I ever learned on my one year training course (which was more focused on theatre like many acting courses).
Ross has great energy and enthusiasm and is able to get top casting directors, agents, directors etc to come and give their views on all aspects of working in TV/film with great honesty and clarity.
It is good value for money too, costing less than a couple of takeaways coffees per week! I highly recommend.

Act On This is such a great source of information and advice and help for people in the acting industry. Ross is super helpful and invites amazing casting teams, directors, actors onto live chats which are always incredibly informative. It is especially good for those just starting out or re-joining the industry after some time away. I thoroughly recommend joining and following on Instagram and Twitter. I've been a member coming on 3 years now. One ask from my dyslexic point of view would be a slightly less complicated website - or more dyslexic friendly one. Once I've logged on it always takes me ages to navigate round all the sales upgrades/packages and I personally find it complicated.

The people who run this truly care. The community is great and the content is top quality - and there is so much of it! Would highly recommend to everyone.

My view of act on this, it’s not a ‘class’ that will improve your actual performance skills, but rather your business skills in this industry, how to approach the very thing, from contacting a CD, agent, staying ‘in the loop’ etc. Which is something most drama schools/ uni’s barely touch on. I learnt more about how to navigate the industry in 3 months on act on this, than I did on my 3 year degree!

Ross and his Team are such great and kind Hosts. I love how they try to help Actors achieve their dreams and navigate in this Business with lots of professionalism paired with inspiring Interviews and Q&As.

Would definitely recommend getting an annual membership so you can stay up to date with their CD and Agents Lists.

I’ve been subscribed to ActOnThisTV for a few months now and unfortunately haven’t had loads of time to watch/listen to the many hours of content the service provides. However, what I have seen is a very welcoming, supportive group of people who care about one another’s career. I constantly see the people running the show interact with actors and helping them in any way they can. The Podcasts are a great source of motivation to me and just an overall joy to listen to. Definitely worth every penny!!

Joining Actonthis.tv was most helpful in connecting with other artists in the Industry, at a time when I was feeling overwhelmed as I was returning to my acting after a long career break. I’ve been an actor for twenty years, and membership of Act On This is still the best career coaching, developing and supporting tool I’ve ever used. Weekly membership price equivalent to the cost of a coffee and a sandwich, and in return you get so much content, Q&A’s with casting directors, agents, actors and other industry professionals. A huge bank of (continually updated) podcasts and videos, that you can access/play on the go, to really help you get into the nuts and bolts of the industry. The more surprising aspect of Act on This, is that aside from giving members access to all this industry expertise, they have created the most amazingly friendly and supportive membership community. As well as a dedicated facebook group, where you find so many lovely people always happy to help out, there are membership Zoom calls, Q&A’’s etc, all geared towards supporting actors through the challenges we face. Not just challenges with self taping or who to write to, what to write etc, but with mind-set, positivity, well-being, goal setting etc. Being an actor can be incredibly tough, lonely and isolating at times, and having a community of like-minded people you can tap into at any time is just wonderful. The Act on This online community is one of the very few places on the internet where I’ve never ever seen any negativity. That’s down to the leadership from Ross Grant, the Act on This founder. He’s also a successful working actor, so he’s on the frontline as well, and his content is always on the pulse of what’s currently happening in the industry. He just loves, lives and breathes what he does with such joy, passion and enthusiasm, it’s infectious. The amount of content he creates and provides for the members every week is astonishing.
Act on This is such a lifeline for the days when we feel like giving up, feel like we’re not getting anywhere in our careers, feel lost, unmotivated, not sure if we’re good enough, wish we had other actors or someone to ask advice from. There is always either a live Zoom call scheduled to perk you up, or you can dip into the library of past calls/videos.
Looking back, the wealth of inside industry information and advice provided here, is what I wish I’d had when I was leaving drama school. It’s the stuff they don’t teach you at drama school. How to navigate the world of agents, casting directors, auditions, self tapes, and how to keep yourself mentally strong and positive throughout the highs and lows of your career. It’s a really lovely community and both Ross, and his Social Media manager Lee, go over and above to make sure everyone has a voice and feels seen.

I’ve been a member for a long time now and what Ross does is just fantastic! So many amazing guests and opportunities. Also Ross is just and incredible human and is always going the extra mile for those who need it. Could not recommend enough!!!

I have been a member of Act On This for 4 years. It really helped me feel connected and part of the industry as I returned to my career and needed to 'catch up' after a longish gap. I cannot think of another resource that is reasonably priced with permanent access to fabulous and continually evolving interviews/roundtables with professionals from all areas of the industry. It's a no-brainer, essential membership.

I joined Act on This nearly 3 years ago & didn't have the faintest clue about the industry. Now I would not be without it.
