From the initial conversation with James Greenhough, through to signing up and working with the wider Actuate team, the communication has been fantastic. NED course is well run and CV writing is excellent
Doing the NED course and really impressed with Actuate so far. The first 4 modules were interesting and led by highly experienced experts in their field. The onboarding and 1:1 support has been great and Nadia did a very good job of drafting my NED CV and she is clearly very experienced.

I had a very good experience with Nadia. She took a number of old CV's varying in detail and crafted a new CV focusing on skills and capabilities aligned with board requirements rather than chronology. In addition she provided an update presentational format and guidance on LinkedIn content, each designed to complement the other and both reflecting the direction in which I am developing my career. Excellent experience
James and Nicole have provided me with an excellent experience from first contact through to sorting out all my sessions and helping with getting started. I have been thinking about completing a NED course for some time and I'm so glad I have now started it with Actuate.
James is always proactive and has the answers to questions I didn't even know I needed to ask. Nicole is super helpful and points me in the right direction when I have issues.
Hopefully the rest of my course will be a smooth as the start!

Had my consultation with Nadia who provided great input and advice, had prepared for the consultation and talked me through suggestions. The expected delivery of the outputs was 10 days but within two days I was provided with a completely formatted and prepared CV. Would highly recommend

The four-hour Risk & Strategy session…
The four-hour Risk & Strategy session was highly structured, linking corporate strategy to risk appetite and board oversight. Case studies (Carillion, InfraBuild, M&S and a cyber breach) were analysed crisply, turning theory into practical questions for NEDs. The lecturer’s personal experience came through clearly, making complex frameworks easy to follow, engaging, and immediately applicable in practice.
