Sophie was amazing. From our first correspondence to me taking away the 2 dresses she altered, it was a quick service. Even though one dress was a big job. From day one I was given a ballpark figure and the final cost was not far off. I was kept updated as to what was happening and I would highly recommend addyman alterations.

Sophie is a very knowledgeable tailor/seamstress and was brilliant at taking a size 10 dress and making it a size 12. Very accommodating and affordable. Would definitely recommend.

Sophie knows her stuff, I had no doubt she could sort out any problems I had with my mother of the groom dress, and I had a FEW, she is patient and puts you at ease, I would definitely recommend her.

Sophie is unbelievably good at what she does! We had a first meeting months ago to figure out what needed altering on my wedding dress. From the moment my mum and I met her we were just so pleased with our choice of seamstress! She explained the process really clearly and talked about different options for the dress. There was no hard sell and she completely made us believe that she knew exactly what she was doing and my dress would be safe in her hands. Fast forward to a couple of months before the wedding, we had another fitting where she pinned and tucked everywhere she felt it needed it. One more dress fitting to check that the length was good and it fit ok on the bodice before a final fitting where I took the dress away! Nothing was ever too much - moving the belt here, adjusting the seam there - and her price was incredibly reasonable too! All the way through the process, Sophie’s pricing was transparent and easy to understand. I paid half when I dropped off the dress and the other half when I picked it up! I thought I’d bought a dress that fitted perfectly but it wasn’t until Sophie worked her magic that I can see that it now truly fits me perfectly! I’m so excited to wear my dress for the big day and it’s all thanks to Sophie!

Can't speak highly enough of this service - wonderful friendly person that made me feel comfortable and never rushed, lovely to speak to during appointments, informative and punctual, and excellent at the actual job - had my wedding dress altered and my flower girl's dress re-sized, and she also altered my mother's outfit and did a perfect job.

Sophie is a lovely , down to earth lady who made me feel at ease and like nothing was too much trouble.
