As always, Cristelle at Admiral has made everything very straightforward to renew and the rates are very competitive. She was quick to respond to our new circumstances and tailored our cover accordingly. Even when we needed to make slight changes to our policy she accommodated those quickly and professionally (and at no extra charge!)

We lost our mast and rig in a very remote place with little to no local help available. Admiral immediately made us feel calm in a very difficult situation assuring us that they were there to help us . We’ve been full time sailors for 14 years now, this is our home on the sea, and on our second circumnavigation so we are no strangers to risk. The assessor who dealt with us had good knowledge of what was required in our situation and definitely was a sailor himself. This makes a huge difference when explaining what needs to be replaced. We felt at all times that whilst Admiral rightfully questioned items around the claim that overall we were able to negotiate with mutual respect and trust. Dealing with any loss is already traumatic and having a reliable, knowledgeable and honest insurer is huge when it comes to getting through the process and maintaining the dream.
