I could not recommend advocate events enough. The level of organisation was incredible. Our driver Matt was always positive and kept our spirits high when physically and emotionally exhausted. If you are thinking of taking on the 3 peaks challenge I can’t see how you could find a better team to support you on your adventure.

We undertook the 3 peaks challenge to raise money for MacMillan cancer care, in aid of our friend who is being treated for leukaemia. Our driver Matt Caldicott was with us every step of the way. After our first climb up Ben Nevis we were held up by a running race on the mountain. When we got down, Matt worked tirelessly to get us back on track. We arrived at Scaffell Pike still half an hour late but in a recoverable state. After Scaffell Pike he told us that the M6 was closed so we would have to go a different way and that our 24 hour cut off would probably be missed. When we woke up from our “sleep” he told us he had made up the time and the challenge was still on! We made it to the top of Snowdon with minutes to spare, and successfully completed our challenge. If you are after comfort, look elsewhere, I’ve had longer sleeps on the Central Line. But what you lose in comfort you more than make up for in dedication and ruthless efficiency. Matt was always cheerful even though he had less sleep than us, gave us advice on what to wear for the weather that was forecasted. He took the time to learn about why we doing the challenge. His banter and playlist were both top notch. He was always honest and up front with us when things were going well or not. When we arrived at the mountains our guides were always there waiting ready to go and fully briefed on what we needed to do to keep the challenge alive. We felt in such safe hands, and I’m in no doubt that our challenge would not have been a success without Matt. Thank you Matt, for being our Mike Collins! Would highly recommend Advocate Events. 5 stars.

We had an amazing time on the 3 Peaks in 3 Days! The vans that we travelled in were spacious and really comfortable, which makes a huge difference. Our driver - the lovely Jack!- was fabulous....and the whole team were so friendly, kind and knowledgeable, surmounting any problems. Communication was clear and everything was done in a professional yet humorous way. Thank you to all for an incredible few days!

Loved every minute of the 3 Peaks in 3 Days Challenge! From start to finish, Advocate Events Team gave us clear instructions and guidance and kept things running smoothly. I'm proud to have been a part of it all, and have met the most amazing people along the way. Really, really good from start to finish. John was very helpful in the run up, particularly as we had a few issues with members of our group committing, and then pulling out for their own reasons. I am sure that created a headache for him, but there was never a cross word or sense of frustration, only positivity and a desire to make sure we had a truly positive and memorable experience.

Our driver Matt was also AMAZING. He looked after us really well, set a warm friendly, and fun atmosphere, and was a great laugh. I can’t believe how well curated his playlist was for the landscapes too!

It’s clear that the Advocate Events team are genuinely invested in you having the best time possible, not for their own sake, but because they have such a passion for adventure that they want to share with others.

Just got back from a trip. Matt was absolutely brilliant at getting us to the 24 hour 3 peaks goal and kept spirits up the whole way. Highly recommend using these guys! Shout out to the 'Winnie the Pooh' soundtrack he used to wake up everyone for Snowdown, great touch! 10/10 trip.

I was part of a group who took on the National Three Peaks Challenge and despite the weather conditions, we were able to complete the task in under the 24 hours. I recently had the opportunity to experience one of the most exhilarating and rewarding trips of my life in Ethiopia, and I can't recommend it enough to any runner looking for something extraordinary.
Ethiopia is known for producing some of the world’s best distance runners, and the atmosphere is electric, making it a dream destination for any running enthusiast.
From the scenic trail runs through the breathtaking Ethiopian hills to the run itself I really had to pinch myself multiple times.

The experience was more than just running, though. I had the chance to learn about Ethiopia’s culture firsthand, including meeting and training with some top athletes, visiting museums and cultural sights where the local guides hospitality was wonderful and sampling local food and customs.

In terms of logistics, everything was top-notch. The trip was well-organized, with clear communication, fantastic support crew, and well-planned routes. The balance of adventure, culture, and fitness made for a truly immersive experience.

Overall, this running adventure to Ethiopia exceeded all my expectations. Whether you’re looking to challenge yourself or simply enjoy the craziest 10km race I've ever experienced, this is the trip for you.

I have taken part in many Advocate Events over the past 12 years—some for charity, others as personal challenges—including the Surrey 3 Peaks, the National 5 Peaks, and even Mount Kilimanjaro (twice, via two different routes). Every single experience has been outstanding.

Advocate Events are second to none when it comes to meticulous planning, thorough preparation, and clear, timely communication. The staff—from the event leaders and mountain guides to the drivers—are always professional, friendly, and reassuring. You genuinely feel supported every step of the way.

Special mention must go to Martyn, who has led many of the events I have joined. His ability to motivate, uplift, and unite a diverse group of people—across all ages and fitness levels—is remarkable. He creates a real sense of team spirit and keeps morale high, even in tough conditions—always with a great sense of humour that makes the journey as enjoyable as the destination.
Whether it’s a local trek or an international adventure, I would not hesitate to choose Advocate Events. In fact, I am already planning my next challenge with them. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I’ve done 3 trips with this company(The national 3 peak in 2017 and Kilimanjaro in 2016 and 2018)and all 3 of them were amazing! From the out set the communication during booking and in the lead up to the trips was 1st class. Martyn puts you at ease with whatever challenge you choose to go for and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with him, and Advocate events again for my next adventure. Stop your search for a company to do your next adventure with, book with these guys, you won’t regret it!!!

Advocate Events were 10/10 from start to finish. We spoke to a few events companies before signing up, but Jon and the team really stood out. They lived up to that and delivered a first class experience. They asked how we wanted the challenge to go and executed it to a tee. Jon, Malc and the team were superb. Will definitely be using again for future events.

Me and a group of friends took on the 3 Peaks Challenge this week with Advocate Events, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. John and Malcolm were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They kept the group motivated, offered support and guidance throughout, and made what is a tough challenge feel achievable and enjoyable.

Their professionalism, encouragement, and sense of humour helped us push through the tougher moments and kept the energy high. The whole experience was well-organised, safe, and full of good vibes. If you’re thinking of doing the 3 Peaks, I can’t recommend Advocate Events – and especially John and Malcolm – enough. Top team!

Jon and the team did a stellar job of getting us up and down the three peaks and smashing the 24 hour target. They kept us totally comfortable, militantly on time and kept us completely hyped. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Jon and the team were nothing short of amazing. They were all super nice, very organised and really looked after our whole group for the entire weekend. They spurred on the team and helped get 24 of us to the top of snowdon within the 24 hours. The set up with 3 mountain guides is amazing as well if anyone needs to head down from a mountain early. Having been one of the organisers for this trip myself, I am so glad we booked with Advocate events because it took all the stress away for the actual event weekend and in providing info to the rest of our group in the lead up to the event. They are experts, super friendly, strict on timings (in a good way) and they even fill your water up or do your shoe laces up for you haha!

I've worked with Advocate Events since 2014, both organising and participating in challenge events, predominantly at a corporate level. The team is reliable, dependable and adaptable - always able to meet our requirements. Everyone I've dealt with has been highly professional, but most importantly, friendly.
