High quality products, just the Italian way...

Ordered some Cannoli and Aragostine, arrived very quickly and nicely packed. Some of the finest Italian pastries I have ever tasted and I will certainly be ordering more, plus trying their other products.

So pleased to have found Affetto Italiano. I initially stumbled across them when looking for gluten free pizza bases for my mum. I placed an order for various items (Con Affetto, #8653). Delivery was super quick, ordering was easy and everything was well packaged. A big shout out to the gluten free salted caramel Cannoli…..they were absolutely amazing!! Will definitely be ordering again soon

Always a great service especially packing of dairy products and meats. Hand freezer bags as well for pick-nics. Fast efficient service and I’ve passed your name on to others who may use your service. I’ll be back again as your reliable with quality items that remind me of Italy.

I have purchased speck from Affeto Italiano several times. The speck quality always been excellent, the packaging good, delivery prompt and the price very fair. I will definitely be buying more of Geoff Brereton

I ordered the mixed box of cannoli to try them prior to ordering for a party, sad to say two were broken in peices on delivery, but the way DPD delivered them by slinging them down with a bang Im not surprised, yet I was home and they didn't even ring the bell....plus the pastry is like a brick to bite into, is that right? I had a bite of three of them and the fillings are gorgeous, shame about the pastry so I carnt chance an order for a party.

The order missed an item, but apart from that, everything else was great. Great quality, nicely wrapped.

We really enjoy all the meats and cheeses (& the Spaghetti Carbonara kit is to die for!) and this time we ordered the 5kg Marinated Olive mix - it is a huge tub but we have little doubt that we will bravely eat them all! Nice dressing and a wide range of olives. This will be a real treat. Delivery is always immediate with strong packaging and very efficient cool packs. We can highly recommend this lovely firm. They do NOT provide the product as advertised. They did provide a refund. However they need to change the picture on their advert, also the wording. What they advertise is one whole piece of Guancale.
What you get are small pieces vacuum packed! Very disappointing and not Italian for me!

I need to revise my earlier comment that I can only urge people to avoid getting involved with this company. It went well when we first used them. The product was enjoyable and arrived in good time.
However our most recent experience is alarming, let alone disappointing. Our order was very slow being put together and sent via evri when it finally got here a perishable meat product was four days beyond its use by date.
I know some are blasé about sell by and best before dates. Use by dates are different. It is illegal to supply or sell perishable food products beyond those dates. Illegal.
There is nothing worse they can do to a customer than sell them food that it unfit for consumption.
That said perhaps there is. You can treat them with disrespect and contempt when they point out your mistake.
Which they also did. No replies. They decided they would replace their product. It hasn't happened and there's no sign it will.
They should have immediately refunded our money and asked if we needed the product collecting for disposal. They should have asked us about replacement not told us it was happening. And they should have actually done something to put it right. It's easy enough to say how sorry you are and then ignore the customer you supplied with food unfit for human consumption.
Anyway I can't recommend this company.
Like the rest of this digital paradise we've managed to create its alright when it works and dreadful when it fails. Someone made a mistake. A terrible mistake for a company supplying food.

PS July 21st: it would be grossly unfair to let this review stand. It took them a while to grasp the situation but when the penny dropped they worked really hard to put it right.
And they did.
I wrote above that it isnt the mistake that matters. We all make mistakes. Especially me. What matters is how you respond to the mistake. Leaving aside the original error the measures they have taken since to put it right have far exceeded my expectations.
Well done.
Looking forward to placing my next order.

I purchased the carbonara kit and some sausages. Delivery was quick and efficient and the items received in good condition.
