We would certainly recommend them this has been the very best thing we have ever purchased. Yes it was a cold call on the doorstep but absolutely no hard sell.
We had it installed back in January.
Sam and his fabulous team were just great, every one of them work harmoniously together and did a perfect job, also they were more than happy to answer any questions during install.

My wife and I were keen on solar power so when they knocked on our door offering the opportunity to get it we booked a consultation. They explained how it works and how our energy costs would be lower. We were impressed and the organisation’s careful coordination meant we had solar installed in just over a week after our consultation. The friendly and helpful installers made the whole process smooth.

Affinity recently installed a Solar and battery system for me, which has been working exceptionally well. The most important part of getting a system was choosing the right installer. Affinity Solar used door to door sales in my local area. The initial contact was positive with no pressure. I just took their info and did some research.I booked a sales meeting and Rowan popped over. He asked my reasons for going Solar (which were independence and energy cost). He helped by providing a design which we iterated a little to meet my specific needs (I increased battery storage). Again, there was no pressure. I obtained a competing quote from another company and compared the designs, tech and knowledge of both installers. It was clear that Affinity had the superior design, knowledge, plus there was still no pressure to buy. Several weeks later, when it was right for me, I decided to push the button and accept their agreement. Approx 2 weeks later the scaffolders arrived and they were a friendly bunch. The next day the Affinity Solar installers arrived. It took 1 day to install 4 batteries, the inverter and 16 panels. The 3 installers were all really friendly and helpful whenever I had any questions, were accommodating when I asked to install components of the system in a certain way and where I'd prefer to route cables etc. so I could support potential future house modifications. I've been running the system for almost a month now and it's exceeded my expectations. The service from Affinity Solar couldn't have been any better. Thoroughly recommend.

Really good experience from the team at Affinity with our recent solar panel and battery install. Our first interaction was via a knock at our door and the politeness of that made us book an appointment to discuss further. Prior quotes from others hadn't worked for us so it was pleasing to have a proposal where the numbers made sense. On the day of the fit we had a very positive install experience with both the panel roofers and electricians. Sam himself answered any questions and provided aftercare assistance. Even with the Feb wet weather the panels have been generating and we look forward to many sunny self sufficient days ahead.

Affinity Solar Solutions came to rectify problematic battery system installed by another provider about 18 months ago. Recently got into difficulties when a new router was installed. Contacted Sam who was amazing, giving me guidance and advice so I was able to continuing monitoring. Absolute life saver and really appreciated his patience. Excellent service. Thank you so much

Sam and all his team are good & efficient. While I've only had the system for about one month, at present all seems to be functioning as promised. The pre-purchase chat was open, informative & non-pressured and the quote was competitive. The installation was amazingly quick & neat by very pleasant roofers & electricians. Affinity do use door to door sales which some might find uncomfortable. However, the lad I saw was polite, keen but not pushy; just phone Affinity. My experience to date has been very positive.

Affinity Solar Solutions knocked on our door after finishing a job nearby, and their rep was friendly and polite — no pressure, just a genuine chat about what they offer. We booked a follow-up visit to go over the options, and their quote came in very competitively compared to others we’d looked at.

Once we gave the green light, Sam the director came round to finalise everything and got us booked in for the following week. The installation team turned up bang on time and had our 14-panel system with 10.8kWh battery up and running by mid-afternoon. They took the time to show me how the app works and left the place spotless — you wouldn’t know they’d been.

Since then, we’ve been running completely off our own solar power. Honestly, wish we’d made the switch years ago. Big thumbs up to Affinity Solar — professional, quick, and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.

I recently had solar panels installed by Affinity Solar, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. They happened to be working in our neighborhood, and I actually appreciated the personal approach of someone just knocking on the door and handing out information. From that first conversation to the final installation, they were professional, efficient, and really transparent about the process.

The quote they gave me was quite reasonable, especially compared to some older quotes I’d received a few years back for fewer panels. They walked me through all the technical details, including the inverter and the type of panels (I really wanted those nice black monocrystalline ones), and they weren’t pushy at all.

The installation itself was smooth and neat. They got the scaffolding up quickly, and the whole job was done in about two days. Everyone who worked on it was tidy and respectful, and the owner came by personally at the end to walk me through everything and make sure I was comfortable with how it all worked.

Overall, I’m really happy with Affinity Solar. They did a great job, and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone considering solar.

P.S. I’ve got prior experience with solar systems from my time in South Africa, and as an engineer, I was pleasantly surprised with both the technology Affinity selected and the overall performance. I was initially cautious and went with just a single 5 kWh battery, but after a week of real-world usage, I was impressed enough to buy a second one. The setup has exceeded my expectations

From the initial call (and no hard sell) from John, to the final installation, it was a fantastic experience. Sam and the team did an incredible job, everything was left clean and tidy and with all my questions answered, nothing was a problem for any of them. Everything is communicated and efficient, what they said they would do, they did exactly to the letter. An excellent and professional service. You won't be disappointed!! Highly recommend!!

Our solar/inverter/battery/grid system wasn’t set up correctly so it wasn’t charging the batteries. Sam was on it an all working perfectly now with the right app to monitor the usage.
Will use again. Highly recommended!

Sam, Turned up on time to meet me and look at my roof, he gave me the best possible solution for my roof and told me about battery storage for the electric I wasn’t using but could use later on to save me money, he started the job on time and finished on time and kept me informed throughout the job. He came in 2nd on the quote and I’m pleased I went with him because you get what you pay for and I got a great job installed I’m very happy and would recommend him!
