The Trip of a lifetime
Liesl was amazing. She took into account our group’s wishes in designing a wonderful itinerary that included Capetown, wine country, and Kruger Park. The accommodations were wonderful and very comfortable.
We were always met by staff and treated with upmost warmth and hospitality. The bus drivers, guides, and transport services were excellent as were our safari guides and trackers. Liesl’s choice of wineries, safari lodges, and hotels was outstanding. She took special care in finding us amazing accommodations in Kalk Bay after our group itinerary ended. The people that we met, the animals we saw, the wine and food that we had made this a trip of a lifetime. Thank you!

Uganda - Trip of a Lifetime
We just returned from an amazing trip to Uganda. Our consultant, Ilze Fox, was very knowledgeable, helpful, insightful, and thorough - listening to our hopes and goals for the trip and planning/booking every last detail. Our itinerary was perfect - each day’s experience building on the day before. From a wetland tour to a chimpanzee rescue, to river and land safaris, to chimp and gorilla trekking - the experience was unforgettable. The service was outstanding - from planning the trip, to transportation, guides, lodging, locations, and food.

Perfect! Nothing could have been done better.
In early 2024, African Safari Consultants, and specifically Ilze Fox, assisted my wife and me in arranging an October 3-17 trip to S. Africa, Zimbabwe, and Botswana. Ilze was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Not only was she very knowledgeable and responsive, but she put together a mostly private trip that exactly met our needs and expectations.
In addition, she was patient in responding to the many questions and minor tweaks to the itinerary that my wife and I requested in the months leading up to the trip.
Several of our friends have expressed interest in doing safaris, and we will be strongly recommending ASC, and Ilze in particular.
I also want to acknowledge Charlie Ratcliffe, the private guide Ilze chose for us on the last leg of our trip in Cape Town. Charlie was a consummate professional, with deep, almost professorial, knowledge of the local area, flora and fauna. Not only did we learn a lot in our 3 days with Charlie, but he's got a great personality and is just plain fun to be around.

Exceptional African safari experiences
This was our 7th visit to Africa, all of which were organised by Ilze Fox based on our wishes and her recommendations. Her prompt replies and attention to detail were without peer. Every trip was exceptional and there were no problems with any of the many lodges or the numerous transport schedules involved. We were always notified immediately of any minor changes in flight or pickup times. For anyone wanting a wonderful safari experience, we highly recommend Ilze and African Safari Consultants.

Amazing Apes in Uganda
Ilze planned a wonderful and unforgettable holiday experience for us. She listened to our needs and organised a spectacular itinerary. The accomodation was amazing throughout and the animal sightings and experiences were breathtaking. We cannot recommend African Safari consultants highly enough. Great Experience with Daisy and Ilze
Daisy and Ilze who helped put our itineray together were very helpful, listened to our requirements, made great suggestions, were accomodating when we had to make changes and even for needs outside of the safari they had contacts and others who could provide the service. All in all, a great experience working with them. The safari, of course, was fantastic!
