I was helping my mum move and she was nervous about it. The lads were fantastic with her. They didn’t rush her, they explained what they were doing, and even helped her carry a few personal items she wanted to keep with her in the car. It’s the little things like that that stick with you. The furniture was packed and unpacked carefully, and they stayed until the final cupboard was in place. I definitely recommend AFS Removals to family and friends for such a stress free experience.

We booked a pack & Move with AFS Removals and I can't recommend them highly enough. From the very start, Ammar made the process straightforward and he was thorough, polite, and attentive during the initial survey, ensuring we had all the information we needed.

On the moving day, Riz was excellent. He kept us well-informed, checking in before and after the move and answering any questions we had along the way. His communication was reassuring and made the process feel seamless.

Andy, Hassan, Nick and Yakoob were absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they worked efficiently while treating both properties with great care and respect. Whenever we needed a bit of extra help, it was met with a friendly attitude and a quick. Thanks to their efforts, what could have been a stressful day turned out to be smooth and well-organised.

We had major delays on moving day and didn’t get our keys until nearly 4pm. AFS handled it all so well. The team stayed calm, kept us reassured, and worked quickly once we got access. They were professional, careful with our things, and incredibly fair with the cost despite the long wait. Truly top service – would 100% recommend.

Absolutely amazing team all the team were so pleasant helpful and genuinely attentive and removed the stressful process of moving. My experience with them was very good and fantastic job. I would highly recommended this company as they were really wonderful.

The whole process with AFS Removals was friendly and straightforward. The quote we received for the removal service from AFS was very competitive and they said that the removal could be done over 1 day rather than 2 days as other quotes had said. The crew arrived on time and familiarised themselves with the task in hand and set to work. They took care with our furniture and other belongings and were happy to discuss our requirements with us. They completed the loading of the van very quickly and said they would be at our new home by late afternoon. In the meantime we picked up the keys from the estate agent and when the crew arrived at our new address, they unloaded and moved all stuff at right places. They assembled our beds and wardrobe with special care. We are very pleased with the great services provided by AFS.

Items damaged during house move, promised on the day that everything was insured and things would be sorted the following working day but have since been ignored ( evidence of conversation)
Inexperienced staff that was slow and inefficient which in turn left us having to pay them overtime to get the job done. Dirty box wagon and without proper lifting equipment.

I have the receipt to prove that I paid the agreed amount plus the overtime.
The manager also agreed that they were at fault for the damaged goods on the day of the move.

We had booked our removals from AFS removals for the 28th March 2025. The person who booked us job seemed very helping, but it turned out that he was intentionally misleading us. I had sent pictures and videos of the entire house to the AFS removals team and they said that the entire job will take 3 hours (max 3.5 hours). I had mentioned about sending an experienced dismantler and reassembly person to set up my ottoman bed and wardrobe. It seemed smooth and honest to start with, and I was foolish enough to be unsuspecting and instantly booked the job and paid the advance.

Little did I know that AFS are only booking jobs and sublet it to other smaller teams. I had specifically mentioned my job to start at sharp 9am. It was all agreed and mentioned in the booking. I had also requested no shoes in my new propert, as all carpets were shampooed.

The team which arrived was late by 1.5 hours. I kept calling them from 9am onwards, as they had made contact 2-3 days ago. The team consisted of one disassembly assembly technician with two other men. They were very inexperienced and were moving extremely slowly, and I kept wondering if they would be able to finish in 3-3.5 hours.

They damaged and chipped the wall of my bedroom while removing the cupboard (and I might end up losing a significant chunk of ky deposit of 1650£). They were very inexperienced, and chipped and scratched the walls of the property we moved into at multiple places (I might eventually lose a lot of my deposit). My Ikea cupboard was damaged. Another Ikea Besta cupboard ended up like the leaning tower of pisa, wobbly and disoriented. My electric recliner was damaged beyond repair (worth 3100£ when new).
Another Ikea ASTRID lamp was damaged. The bed was done fine without any issues. When the person was assembling the Ikea wardrobe, he got cery irritated and left midway as he had another booked job (He told me he hated doing wardrobes). Incidentally he had bought an electric drill set the same day (making me suspect he had never done it before). I fixed the shelves after he went. The electric recliner can’t be fixed.

They finished hours late, and I was charged an astronomical figure.

The scam AFS is running is that they will force/push the customer to go by the hour and false promise that the job will be done in a few hours, and then send a very inexperienced team who would take twice the time (or more) and then you pay their hours.

My experience with AFS removals was a nightmare. I wouldn’t even recommend it to my enemy. I have lost thousands of pounds in damages. It was all my fault, that I fell for their false assurances and should have done my research better instead of trusting

P.S. After seeing my google review, I got a call from AFS removals and they used abusive language and threatened me to delete the post within an hour (also messaged me the same, which I have screenshots of sent from their number) and said they have my address and will be sending goons and the delivery driver over to deal with me. Unimaginable to have such a experience from a company which deals with customers.

I was dreading moving day, expecting stress and complications, but it couldn't have gone better thanks to Chris and his team. They managed everything so seamlessly I could sit back and enjoy the experience. I would definitely recommend and use again.

Absolutely amazing team. From beginning to end, the personally assigned coordinator handled survey, planning and oversaw dedicated team to ensure a smooth and carefully performed move. Nothing was an issue them as they handled every item with care with zero marks or breakage.

All the team were so pleasant, helpful and genuinely attentive and removed the stressful process of moving.

We had originally booked a local firm for our move, but due to a last minute exchange and insane demand for movers with people trying to beat the change of Stamp Duty, none were available, so we ended up trying a national firm and AFS had availability.

With a due sense of apprehension, and without them seeing the house, we booked, but we are so glad we did. Shah and his team were polite, reassuring and took incredible care of our stuff, of which there was a vast amount. Not a single item was damaged and the team worked so hard to get us in without issue.

I could not recommend these guys enough. I know AFS have multiple teams, but we really lucked out with Shah and the guys. Thank you so much.

The team who moved us done an outstanding job could not have asked more of them , only slight complaint was communication in the morning but was quickly dealt with.

Good customer service and the helper from Dartford was Lovely and kind.

This company is unreliable. They give you an appointment for a quote and turn it into a 'video quote' at the last minute. It appears that they are not interested in smaller removal work rather the big contracts. Then profusely apologize but have the nerves to offer to reschedule the appointment. Bad business practice and disrespectful to potential customers.

We recently moved from the Birmingham down to Aberdeen ( Scotland). AFS Removals handled our Pack & Move very well. They are a bit more expensive than other local companies, but you have the peace of mind that you possessions are going to arrive at your destination. They were a very efficient, friendly and professional team guys. From beginning to End, We couldn't have wished for anything more. Thank you all for your hard work on what was a very stressful day for everyone! . We definitely recommended!
