An amazing driving school! My instructors name was Ahsan Laghari and he was the best instructor ever! The fact that he was always there cooperating with me whenever I needed help here and there. I was able to pick up topics really easily due to his ability to communicate and help me understand what was needed to be done. He gave me every single tip and trick that was needed. He was an understanding driving instructor making changes for me wherever possible. I totally do recommend him!! I came to him with very little knowledge and left with all the knowledge needed. He did 3 hour lessons with me as it helped me get that extra boost in! The office were also able to communicate and help achieve a great deal in my driving journey. Ahsan had given all his best to help me pass. He taught me every single topic, what I needed to do, what was right and wrong. The mock tests we did had helped especially helping me improve it. He is a lovely young man who is very enthusiastic towards his students. Please book with him!

I have been through 3 driving instructors and Shorof is the best by a mile.

He's a very kind, patient, and skilled teacher with clear communication.

His way of breaking complicated parts of driving into simple, repeatable methods is extremely helpful.

I highly recommend him if you're looking to learn automatic.

The driver was rude and unprofessional. At times during our lesson, he audibly huffed and puffed in annoyance at trivial errors. His impatience was disheartening. He told me on my second lesson, don’t waste your time finding a manual; your clutch is terrible!

We feedback to the manager and we got him replaced. However the second driver was the same. He also did not communicate well - often delaying lesson requests and messages by up to six weeks.

We had a lesson in torrential rain where he asked me to go 50mph on an A road for my 3rd lesson. At the end, he exclaimed, “Thank God we made it alive”.

My experience was really bad and I would never recommend anyone to chose them.

My driving instructor Fayaz Uddin is an absolute credit to Ahmed Driving School in Southampton, and in my experience (although i did not encounter other instructors), i could not have been given a better instructor.. . He is a very good driving instructor, very calm, very polite, extremely knowledgeable and very friendly.. . He guided me to a successful first time pass on the 25/07/24 at the Maybush test centre in Southampton in a relatively very short period of time and i am very grateful to him for helping me to achieve this pass.. . I have and would highly recommend him to anyone.. .

Zia Ahmed is an amazing driving instructor! He has a unique talent for explaining complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand, ensuring that I felt comfortable and confident. He is incredibly patient and supportive, always providing constructive feedback and positive reinforcement. I am extremely grateful to Zia Ahmed for his support and guidance throughout this journey. Couldn’t recommend him enough!

Passed 1st time with instructor Temor, with only 2 minors. Temor was very patient with me and explained everything I need to know very well.

I can’t recommend Darren more highly - he is an exceptional teacher with just the right balance of patience , intelligence , humour and kindness. I passed my driving test on the first try and have all the confidence that he will help you pass also!

I have just passed my practical driving today first time with only 2 minors with Emmanuel from Southampton, The best and kindest instructor I've ever seen. 100% recommend this brilliant instructor.

So happy to of passed first time thanks to Mozamel. He is an incredible teacher who made me feel at ease since day one.

I passed my test in first attempt and all thanks to Zia for being very patient with me.
The lessons were well organised and gives attention to all details that are needed to pass the test.

Passed my test first time today with Ahmed Driving School. My instructor, Ahsan Laghari was really kind, patient and ensured I was able to drive to the level required to pass. He was also extremely encouraging and supportive and made sure I had confidence in myself too. Felt comfortable with him as my instructor and grateful for the pass I have.

I highly recommend this driving school my instructor, Mozamel Ahmadi made it easy for me to pass and it was very easy to communicate with him and work on my errors.

I recently had the pleasure of being trained by Ahsan, and I am thrilled to say that I passed my driving test with flying colors, all thanks to his exceptional instruction. Ahsan is an outstanding driving instructor who is both patient and knowledgeable.

Highly recommended. Professional and talented instructors. Shorof has great teaching skills. I was lucky to be with Ahmed driving school.

Would give 0 if I could.
First the driver was 20 minutes late, did not notify me and then also did not add the time on at the end of the lesson. He made me pull over and took 2 personal phone calls and also opened a package and took out the item and proceeded to set it up in his car. All of this took up a hour almost hour of my lesson!
If this wasn’t enough he then made comments about how he would shout if I was to get something wrong!
All of this is unacceptable when you pay £71 for a 2 hour lesson.
When I complained I was met with rudeness from the staff like I was making this up for fun. They even ignored me when I tried to explain further.
They are very unprofessional and wasted my time and money!
If you want good lessons with a good instructor that values your time and understands that everyone learns differently I would go anywhere but here!

Just passed first time with Zia Ahmed. Absolutely amazing instructor from the start, got me from a complete beginner to fully confident and qualified driver within just 3 months! Always made sure that I understood something new that I learnt before moving on, and always calm and considerate. Thank you Zia it’s been a pleasure having you teach me to drive! 🚘😁
