I would recommend others think carefully before using Air Con World (formerly CoolTech), run by Andy. My experience unfortunately mirrors many of the other reviews posted here and elsewhere.

My installation took around three months to complete due to repeated missed & moved dates, often with no warning, and I was always the one chasing for updates. There was always an excuse. Agreed attendance dates were regularly not met. Only when I threatened legal action did I get movement.

After installation, when issues arose due to installing error, I again experienced delays and difficulty obtaining support taking weeks. Again, legal action led to movement

A year later, I attempted to book the service included in my agreement (which was compensation). Once again, dates were arranged and then missed without notice, which meant taking time off work and waiting in unnecessarily.
I never did get my service!

Based on my experience, communication and reliability have been consistent challenges like those of other reviews. I would personally suggest choosing a local company with a strong track record for aftercare and reliability.

I want to say a big thank you to Simon for the service. The company name has changed to Airconditioningworld.co.uk. I ordered a mini-split on Saturday and received it on Tuesday morning. Good price. A little unusual payment method. But everything went smoothly without any problems. I would recommend them.

BUYER BEWARE
This company is untrustworthy as they take your money and either part deliver or don't deliver at all. You won't get your money back as they use various payment methods to manipulate your rights so avoid at all costs.
There are numerous excuses for multiple delays, it's like the dog ate their homework kind of excuses they come up with its comical!.
They have multiple CCJ's (County Court Judgements) against them and they are known to bailiffs to collect customers monies.
They cut corners with poor installations (using third parties).
Only interested in taking money from customers and then never answer phones and major delays (with excuses) on answering emails.
Andrew Driver is the owner and if you research, on Companies House, their accounts are overdue time and again and they've been threatened to be struck off.
Cooltech website now directs to airconditioningworld.co.uk, which Andrew has setup, and it's clearly a way of creating a new business to shutdown the old (for Ltd company Director less liability) and therefore not pay suppliers or customers their money. Avoid this dishonest company/person at all costs.
