Our tutor Kara has been fantastic. She was matched with our son who was looking for some extra maths support in Year 12. He chose the online sessions and before they started she called me personally to introduce herself and have a chat which was great given I was not going to meet her in person. The lessons are very well prepared and my son has been getting a lot out of their sessions, especially going through old papers leading up to the trials. Would have no hesitation in recommending Alchemy Tuition, the whole experience has been rewarding.

Not great. There was no discussion at all about the needs of our child before starting. They just lobbed in a tutor with no discussion at all. I did not feel safe leaving our 12yo daughter in line with some bloke we'd never met. When we noted we had specific needs, like someone our daughter could engage with, (i.e. a female in her 20s) they just cancelled and walked off. Very Odd. No discussion.

Our Son Noah was paired with Marcus Santilli for English and he was a God send.
English is not our first language and Noah struggled to get good grades in School. Marcus understood his needs and tailored his tutoring to suit Noah's learning style , he would constantly follow up , share study plans , teach Noah to be better organized and would review Noah's completed work and provide very constructive feedback and tangible observations . Noah has grown in confidence and gotten to like English all thanks to Marcus efforts , focus and his excellent teaching style . Marcus would be available for Noah despite him being on holidays or weekends .We Cant thank him enough .He comes highly recommended. I wish we had more teachers like him who help Average students rise to become good and great students.

Ryan is an excellent maths teacher. He is able to clear concepts for my daughter who is in year 11. Very flexible and cooperative with timings and extra classes if needed for assessments. My daughter looks forward for her sessions with him. Highly recommended

Our tutor has been amazing. Always does a huge amount of preparation prior to the session each week. Everyone has been lovely to deal with. It’s been a great experience all around.

As a tutor, I have met a number of wonderful students through Alchemy! It's great to work for a company that streamlines the admin processes for tutors, and is always eager to support us. I love how easy it is to connect with new students, and the flexibility to freely choose my work hours!

Great tutor and she would get 5 stars but she is let down by the quality of the papers provided. We have found at least one, and often, more mistakes in questions on every single paper. This is getting increasingly frustrating for both me and my child.
There is great feedback each week from the tutor.

The experience from the beginning has been so smooth and easy. Shinean was a great match for my daughter on many levels. The balance between challenge and confidence building was perfect.

My 11 year old daughter is being tutored in maths by Lloyd, who makes learning fun and enjoyable. He has really broadened her skills in problem solving and increased her confidence greatly. We’re also very happy with the feedback Lloyd gives us about our daughter’s progress.

We have 2 tutors at Alchemy. Kashmala tutors my 11 year old in maths. And Justin tutors my 8 year old in maths and English. Kashmala & Justin both have friendly and happy attitudes. They tutor my boys with a positive approach and always praise them with their achievements. Both of them communicate well with me and show a lot of respect. My boys like their tutors and are learning a lot.

Rahul is a fantastic NSW HSC Advanced Maths tutor for my daughter. The Alchemy onboarding process was easy to follow, and the way they go about matching the right tutor for the student was quite in-depth. My 11 year old daughter has been having maths tutoring with Katja online. She has had only x4 sessions but has already grown in confidence, has moved up several maths groups/levels and most importantly, is enjoying maths (and no tears of frustration when her Dad or I try to help). Katja is very skilled and personable and Zoe looks forward to her tutoring (amazing!) Thanks Katja.

My 2 sons (year 7 and 9) have had maths tutoring with Josh weekly for the second half of the year and both have made significant gains in ability and confidence. Josh is well prepared and always on time. I have found Alchemy highly professional and easy to deal with and the electronic payments and feedback system are great. I highly recommend Alchemy tutoring and I am quite hard to please!

My son has been having 1:1 tutoring with Nathan for several years now. Our experience of Alchemy has been excellent. Communications are timely and clear and we love the weekly tutor updates to let us know what was covered and how our son performed.
