Extremely disappointed with AlignBooks

Extremely disappointed with AlignBooks. We have been using their software for the last 6 years and trusted them with our inventory, sales, and critical business data. For the past several weeks, the system has been completely down, bringing our operations to a standstill and causing significant disruption and financial losses.

What is even more frustrating is the lack of accountability, transparency, and communication from the company. Despite repeated follow-ups, there has been no clear explanation, no reliable timeline for resolution, and no meaningful support for affected customers.

Our business-critical data accumulated over six years remains inaccessible, and the uncertainty surrounding its safety and availability is extremely concerning. Businesses rely on software providers to ensure continuity, reliability, and support during critical situations. Unfortunately, AlignBooks has failed on all three fronts.

We strongly urge prospective customers to carefully consider the risks before entrusting their operations and valuable business data to AlignBooks. They have no right to call them themselves a software company, if they didn't plan for this!

Alignbooks recently and since

They sell their software as a "cloud based" and then store all customer data as well as the backups in one location and it all got potentially burnt. They email us first saying our data is safe and then later says they cannot declare that our data is recoverable. Its safe to say that they are not trustable. however their software looks like, their company is not to be trusted. Their customer services are also very poor, since years whenever we demand a fix in their financial statements, they turn to arguments.

Total System Failure - Very very bad experience

Very very bad experience. As experienced by everyone, their software has stopped working from 5th of June. We are left to fend to ourselves with no proper response from anyone. We have taken an active subscription from them based on the assurance that our data is safe. Reply to mails sent to their MD, Mr. Anand Jajodia states that they have learnt a lesson in the hard way, but unfortunately at our cost, since all our hard recorded data of last 3.50 years is lost in a single shot. We are virtually left wondering whom we need to pay and who owes us money as on date. We should collectively fight against this legally. I am reachable on 9900778844 for any discussion.

I wanted to give zero

I wanted to give zero . They have lost all my 7 years data at fire incident at Tata server . Now no one picks phone and no solution. Now we are at own . Worst experience and not recommendable for any new customer.

Irreparable loss caused by Align Books

We have lost all our financial data, customer ledgers, inventory details, vendor ledgers which was stored in align book servers. They didn't have a back up plan for any disaster. They have taken no responsibility for their negligence. They provided update for 2-3 days after the incident and now the customer service is not responding to any calls or emails.

Extremely disappointed with AlignBooks

Extremely disappointed with AlignBooks. My software has been down since 5th June due to the fire incident in their server room. Support assured me that all data would be recovered by 10th June, but it's now been over a week and there is still no resolution.

My entire business data—customer balances, ledgers, sales, purchases, and transaction records—is stored in this software. I cannot access any of it, and my business operations have practically come to a halt.

I trusted AlignBooks with critical business data and never expected such a failure. Recover my data immediately or I will be forced to pursue legal action. This situation has caused immense stress and financial loss.

ERP not working last 7 days due to fire in data center

Software is not working since last Friday- 7 days de to fire in the cloud data center, entire accounts their server as it is a web-based software.
Response from support team is poor.
Even updates are not provided regularly.
Not sure they had second or backup servers for data backup.

The software is not running since 4…

The software is not running since 4 days due to data center failure and totally irresponsible staff as no-one is picking the calls or sharing any update. The fire incident has exposed a critical flaw in their Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy. A fire at a single local facility should never result in a multi-day blackout. A robust architecture should feature multi-region deployment and automated failover capabilities to transition operations to an alternate data center immediately.

Extremely disappointed with Align…

Extremely disappointed with Align Books. Their behavior took a complete 180-degree turn the moment I transferred the payment for a one-year subscription. Before the payment, they were proactive, but now they have completely stopped answering my calls. The software performance is incredibly poor and buggy, making it useless for my business. To make matters worse, they have flatly refused to provide a refund despite their failure to deliver basic service. It is clear that this company only cares about grabbing money and has zero ethics when it comes to customer support. Save your hard-earned money and stay away from this trap!"
