Unprofessional Service and Refusal to Refund - Avoid Aaliyah Collection

I ordered expensive abayas from Aaliyah Collection, and all were of poor quality. I returned them within the 14-day refund window, and my tracking confirms they were delivered. However, the company has since stopped responding to my emails and has provided no update on my refund status. This is extremely unprofessional and frustrating. It seems they have no intention of processing my refund. I’ve now had to escalate this issue with my bank. I will never buy from them again. Aaliyah Collection is a disgraceful company, and they need to shut down.

If I could give zero stars I would. I am not the type to leave reviews but this service was so appalling that I felt the need to let people know. I received an abaya that was in all fairness very beautiful, however, the item was damaged as the beads were all falling off (this was before I had even taken the abaya out the bag) I was of accepted a replacement however the lack of accountability and taking liability was shocking. Despite receiving a faulty abaya, they not once apologised and furthermore, they didn’t think the item is damaged if the beads a displaced. Such an expensive abaya for only the beads to be shredding off before even wearing the item! Their customer service is very appalling!! After several back and forth emails, we agreed to return the item. I must point out that in the emails, I had to point out to them that they not once apologised for even receiving a faulty item as a standard customer service would. I returned the abaya as I refuse to spend my money with a company that are shockingly poor service. I waited 3 weeks for my refund which they did not process and therefore, I had to call my bank to obtain my refund. This is how poor the service is! I would avoid, they really are terrible. When things go wrong, this company refuse to refund and take accountability. If that was bad enough, I had to fork out on return postage of £10 which I won’t get back, again a faulty item that they manufactured and sent out yet I am the one who pays for the return postage. Refused to process my refund that I am having to call my bank to retain my refund, thankfully it was on my credit card. I will never be ordering from them again. I wish I read the previous reviews to avoid the unnecessary stress and headache. They have no acknowledgment and clearly a disgusting service! I have never experienced such poor service, they really should be reported to trading standards. Evidently my experience is not a one off! They so need to be reported and be shut down as so many customers have similarly suffered as I did.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ON EXCHANGE!!!

I purchased an abaya from this company who who by the way i've been a loyal customer for several years. The abaya was too big and the fit was not right. I emailed the company to mention this in order to arrange an exchange as I was not interested in a refund. During this period my children became very unwell and did not have time to follow the exchange policy as I would have hoped to. I emailed the company recently to explain the circumstances and could not believe the lack of compassion and poor customer service regarding the after sell. Firstly, I was not after a return and secondly their were circumstances at the time where I could not follow the policy and maybe you need to review your policy again because most of the reviews are about the same thing.

The funny thing is that I purchased a Eid abaya from the same company who seem to not care about you after they have your money. The customer service experience was not great and personally I will never order from this company again.

I wish I had read all the reviews before buying from them! I ve had the similar issue that many other customers have had! So returns are impossible the abbayas are so expensive and when you are buying something expensive you want to see it first in real life before making a decision but I made a bigest mistake ordering from them. It was like if you want to return the item they only gave me 2 days from the time I emailed them and they told me to make sure it's tracker service I use otherwise they won't be responsible for any loss or damage, I ended up spending £10 on the postage. They don't give refund for scarves I should have read the policy properly! Or they should have mentioned it in bold on the scarves page. Overall bad experience very bad customer service will never buy from them!

I purchased 3 items spent £95 including delivery charge and one was too big. I contacted AALIYA COLLECTION and was sent an address to post the item back for a refund however the postage is £10 to return which I have to pay for. I contacted them again to tell them it’s £10 however I was told that I had to pay to send the item back and was sent an email saying “We do not do free returns, customers are responsible to return at your own cost.” How ridiculous you’re buying online and sometimes the sizes are not always correct!! I have shopped on many online websites and this site is the only one that does not do free reruns. I will not be buying again from them as there are many other sellers selling the same items at a cheaper price. There’s no point sending item back paid £37 however it’s not guaranteed to get the refund and on top I have to pay to return the item. Unless you are 100% sure of your size then you can buy otherwise you may be wasting your money!!

AVOID at all costs!

This company has the worst customer service I have come across. They sent my abaya in the wrong colour and I asked for a refund as it was also not very good quality. (You can pick the same abayas up at half the price from Longsight market). 5 weeks on they haven’t replied to any emails or texts and I am yet to receive a refund. Absolutely disgusting! Selling islamic clothing and scamming people. There will be no barkat in your work and this will come back to you one way or another by Allah’s will.
In the meantime I will be going via a small claims court to obtain my money, although I know this will cost me more, I think morally it is the right thing to do to prevent this happening to others!

I bought an abayah for my mum as a present and obviously it was a bit too big plus there was no belt included with this, emailed them for a return and an exchange, but THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! WOULDNT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE THE FACT THERE WAS NO BELT. HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. MAKE SURE THIS BUSINESS DOESNT CARRY ON!!

Returning is near impossible

Honestly, the quality of their abayas and style were very nice. But their returns policy and customer service is so terrible that I wouldn’t use them again. They make refunds virtually impossible by not responding to emails and then reduce clothes by £5 and call them sale items. I ordered 3 abayas size 56 and their sizes was so ridiculously different and then they wouldn’t return them. But how is their sizing difference my fault!
Anyway lost too much money using them so would say try another store.

I have been trying to contact them in every way, no luck at all. They have taken my full payment but had not delivered one of the item. They have not given me any update, any reason why I did not receive my other item. I want my money back very BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Never shopping with Aaliyah collections again.

When confronted about the error was asked to pay for return and exchange with an extremely rude assistant on the other end of the emails

I had originally ordered a long dress from Aaliya collections back in July 22, I had requested an exchange and paid extra for the difference for 2 new items which was approved via email.
I have to date received no items and no refund. I have tried contacting the company via email, whatsapp, telephone, instagram message, and imessage, still no response. In fact the public message I left on instagram asking them to contact me was deleted yesterday and the same for another customer.
I have not been rude or aggressive to the seller, I just simply want a refund now as the goods were not delivered. I have had to resort to contacting Paypal and trading standards to claim refund.

Very bad and horrible service. I agree with all the people who said bad.
I order this for eid and paid for next day delivery and they sent me the wrong size. When I called the phone number it was not reachable. They txt me and said they can’t do anything about the wrong item. It was just today. Pls anyone don’t go to that horrible online store. They even dint response and said blocked you bye bye also said it’s a simple matter . They are big liers pls don’t go and buy it. They started speaking Islamic and religious. Rediculous. Pls don’t buy on this store.

My opinion about the dress abaya after 2 weeks. I posted and still no refund. Charting Comapny. Gonna complain.

Rude and disrespectful

If I could give -50 stars I would.

Horrible and despicable service. Send me a totally different colour of a dress. I ordered gold, a pink colour was sent. I immediately messaged they said "slight variation and that is the colour". Liars liars, they refused to refund my delivery charge of 4.99 and now expect me to return within 2 working days and chose to tell me to return at the end of an already working day. They keep harassing and sending back emails and guiltripping people with religion when they complain about an order. I have NEVER come across an online store like this. I will make sure to write my review everywhere.

No manners at all, the person is quick tempered, narcissistic behaviour, rude and disrespectful. Has no regard to the customer.

They make money by sending the wrong stuff and charging a delivery and for return.

Refrain from buying if you dont want trouble.

Damaged but won't pay return postage

I do not like companies who think it's okay to make customers feel fobbed off.
I should have read online reviews first regarding their handling of return postage and damaged goods.
I ordered 3 outfits but 1 out of 3 of the outfits the Ayah arrived with not one but several missing crystals and in its place was clear evidence of blobs of glue where crystals should have been. I was upset by this as it was the nicest I thought with the contrast soft pink scarf but it was clearly faulty and damaged.

As they have such a short 3 day return policy i used their portal within 1 day of recieving the goods to make them aware of the issue. They emailed back to say they can't see the issues via the pics on their portal and to email them more pictures of the damage which I did.

My return was eventually accepted and before sending it back I clarified by email that as the outfit is damaged my return postage would be refunded. It took several back and forths to get this confirmed properly as there was no mention of paying return postage when the return was first accepted and when asking initially about this they said 'as per our policy return costs aren't reimbursed' by which I replied to say 'this item is being returned as it's damaged, as per your own policy you claim to refund postage for damaged goods.' They confirmed eventually that after checking if the outfit is indeed faulty with the issues identified the postage would be refunded. This back and forth is when I started to feel unconfident with the company and how they would handle my genuine issue, I felt from that moment they could be difficult about this which started to make me feel anxious.

I sent the item back packaged properly by their chosen courier which was Hermes. I followed all their rules and policies fully and completely.

They emailed some days later to say that the item was inspected and they found one loose thread which they cut and now the outfit it fine! They said on this occasion they would refund me for the outfit but not for the return cost as it's not actually damaged?! Firstly the thread they cut was where there was glue hanging from it where a crystal was supposed to be but was missing. Secondly there wasn't just one missing crystal on the outfit but several you can see this as soon as you take it out the packaging! The Ayah dress has crystals in the middle of each flower but several were missing in the dress sent to me with leftover glue in it's place! I resent
more pictures circling and drawing arrows to the exact locations of all the missing crystals and blobs of glue where crystals should be and asked them to recheck the outfit as there's been a mistake.

They got back to me eventually and stated that they checked it again and are happy it's not classified as damaged and that the outfit was discounted - as if to imply because it's on sale, damage should be expected even though nothing in the description said the outfit was in that condition.

I've emailed back to ask why they are refusing to acknowledge the missing crystals clearly shown in the evidence images I have sent? I can't believe their lack of apology and acknowledgment for sending a damaged item to me and pretending this isn't the case! If they see no issue with the item that means they would actually resell the faulty outfit to another customer in the same condition I received it!

It seems the company doesn't like to pay for return postage even if the item is damaged and will find any excuse to get out of paying it - and quite frankly that is despicable. I have no respect for a company that runs it's business in such an untrue way whereby they refuse to fully acknowledge their faults if it means paying for return postage for damaged items. Either that or they just aren't bothered about such damage and expect customers to just be okay with evidently missing crystals or beads. The company lacks empathy unwilling to accept responsibility for genuine issues and reading some other reviews may even blame you for the damage, not a risk worth taking in my opinion to shop here again.

This business is so petty that the one time prior to ordering I contacted them about sizing via Instagram since then i have only ever emailed them. They refuse to email me back about my return refund but found the time to block me on Instagram even though I never contacted them about the damage on there?! Speaks volumes about the way they run business.

Spoken to PayPal who have helped with getting this money back. Suggest for others to pay by PayPal or credit card as precaution for similar situations.
